Has anyone ever used the waterless dog shampoos?
Do you have any recomendations or ones to avoid?

Wassim could really use a bath but until his leg is fully healed from surgery that is not an option. He's getting a little greasy and I really hate not having a clean dog!
His skin is also dry and flakey so it would be a bonus if I could find something that would condition his skin too.

Any recomendations are welcome!

IIRC, Miracle Coat has a great waterless shampoo - their Miracle Mist spray is my go to for small skin irritations with my dogs.

I've been using PDog's waterless shampoo: http://www.planetdog.com/ProductInfo.aspx?productid=64060000 You spray it on, rub it in and dry it off. I use it on Saxon when we get back from the beach or doggy daycare or anything like that. It's also conditioning, so with longer haired dogs you can brush it out a bit before drying it off and it will help with detangling a bit.

P.S. My question was "Is water wet?" :p

I bought this on recommendation from a friend to try on Noodle who smells SO BAD all the time and I don't like bathing him when it's freezing outside (he has enough excuses to poop in the garage enough as it is ), and I'll say, yes it did clean the dirt off of him, and yes his coat was very soft and shiny and it didn't seem to dry out his skin (something I worry about with some "spot clean" products), but, 24 hours later he REEKED, plopped him in the sink to find his butt stained, so it doesn't really work on everything (*cough* anal juice), but you could give it a try for a general between bath product.

Thanks for the recommendations.
I will see what I can find this week.
We have an adoption event coming up soon and I'd hate to take him there all greasy and funky smelling :rofl1:
