Laur you are so talented! I love seeing all these updates and new pictures - I can't get enough of your work.

I see Quinn in that last picture! She looks like a little bad ass, hehehe.

I'm in.freaking.love. with your style. You're amazing, I'd do anything to be able to draw that way. I used to draw all the time, but never did much with it.

How'd you learn the different techniques and stuff?

I'd love to take some kind of class eventually.
Actually technique is my weak point. Everything I've done is just trial and error on my own and I think most art is just that. You can get instruction but really the only way you improve is just repetition, repetition, repetition. I drew literally CONSTANTLY as a kid. Even as an adult I do too. If I was in math class and had a pen in hand, I was drawing. It's almost involuntary. I really think that is what 99% of it is.

However, classes certainly help a lot! Especially seeing people at work on their pieces and seeing how they do things. For example I learned to use a sponge on my watercolors and also to wet the paper beforehand this weekend.

Mandy, sure! After all I owe you for Mia's wonderful collar that she wears every single day. :D

OMG those are wonderful Laur! Can we still post in your other thread? I have tons of pics (of course) and I'd love to see how you interpret my crew.

Also - if it really only takes you a couple minutes to do those sketches I think you'd do FANTASTIC on commission. I like those a lot and I'd probably be more willing to get those than color. (I hate matching stuff to other stuff - lol).
