    does any one watch the dog whisperer on national geographic it interest
    me how can he train dogs to be good so fast :eek:

    i really liked the one with the boxer because they were about to put it down before he came in and showed the family how to correct problems and....happy ending

    that is the truth about that episode did you see the one when he met these people with about 14 yorkshire terrirers and 1 of them were spoiled

    I love watching this show, but if you watch it enough, you'll see that a lot of his fixing is just making the owners realize how important walks and rules are. I still think he's fantastic and use some of his methods myself, but only the ones that won't eff up a dog if not performed correctly.

    you are right zoom but my pup can't be put on a choke collar until he has severe behaviuor issues

    your are exactly right he ends up teaching the owner more than the dog

    Yup. But he does also get it through the dog's heads what their places are.

    Training Owners

    The whole point of obedience is training the owner how to get his/her dog to do what is wanted, and to not do what is not wanted. Caesar cannot be there 24/7, so the owner has to learn the techniques for working with the dog.

    is the dog whisperer with the older man...who goes to ppl's houses to help train their dogs?

    It's on the National Geographic Channel. They are constantly changing the time it's on. I guess right now then are playing on "select weekdays" at 10:00 and 10:30 in the morning. But they played it at 6:00 and 6:30 in the afternoon for a long time.
