Once you get used to the zombies/killings, it's smooth sailing. I normally can't stand gore and cover my face but The Walking Dead is my favourite TV show. I started watching it from episode one in December after all my classmates, and a teacher, would spend time talking about it. Maybe three episodes later, I was hooked.

Lol I used to be terrified of zombies ... But this show is different, it's more about the characters then it is about the people, their relationships (or lack there of) & how they react to this whole mess.

Happy watching :)

CrystalGSD, you can find all of the episodes on ProjectFreeTV. That's how I watched maybe a dozen or so episodes because Netflix didn't have all of them. Some of the hosting servers take a long time but some of them are really quick at loading.

It actually took me a good 4 episodes or so to get hooked on the walking dead (I almost stopped after the first episode) but now it's my favorite current TV show. I also was never one for gore and killing, I hate zombie movies, hate horror movies. But it's not a show about zombies, it's a show about people trying to handle an unimaginable situation.

I keep thinking about watching that one. I finally bought Game of Thrones recently and finished the first season. It's good... but not great for me. Lots of boobs everywhere too, lol.

Well, the horse part was a little disconcerting. When you first see him I told DH, "I love that horse--he's aesthetically exactly what I want when I go horse shopping!"

Then BAM!-horse gets eaten by zombies. Other than that it was pretty good. I was sort of wondering why the crows weren't nomming the resting zombies though....

Yeah the horse/dogs getting eaten or implied of being eaten makes me sad :(.

I think the crows "know" that the walkers aren't really "dead" in the literal since. Crows are one of the smartest animals & I don't think it would take them long to realize that walkers would eat anything that came within arms reach, so maybe they learned not to **** with them.

Also it raised enother question in my mind ... What of the horses / animals? We know that ppl turn when bitten but what about animals if hypothetically, they got away after being bitten ... Would they turn as well like a human would? Would they if they died of causes other then a bite/scratch? Does the "virus live in them too?
