Between Ruby and Dr2 , you get the picture !! I can see why there are so many BYBs sites . My next door neighbor has a wonderful un-neutered male she's thinking about studding out ............ I sure haven't told he about this new craze !!! After I lost Chip and I went to petfinder .... I may have snatched one up myself !!! Ollie came up as Golden/poodle , but it was his golden look that sold me .

Thanks everyone! They really are beautiful dogs! One thing I do want to know though, is do they act more like labs or poodles? Or do they have their own, unique personality?

Their own, unique personality. They are an example of a dog where the whole is greater than the sum of it's parts.

They have the silliness and happiness of a Lab, combined with the gentle love of a Poodle. They are as intelligent and inquisitve as Poodles, but don't take themselves too seriously, like Labs.

They have the loyal and devoted hearts of Labs, and are dignified friends, like Poodles. They are funny and cheeky and at the same time can be introspective and, occasionally, melancholy. They'll eat anything and then turn their noses up at the choicest morsel (but only if they want to tease you).

They are superb.
