Thanks so much guys, doberluv, yes the marrow bones are the ones with the hole in them. I wasn't home and my mom said she even asked my dad because she wasn't sure she should give it to her (she had no idea to worry about the hole, but she was worried it might be a weight bearing bone, and they can chip their teeth) and they both came to the conclusion that it would be safe. They had no idea that could happen (wish I had been home) but thankfully all ended well and she won't be getting one again. :)

It's funny. I wonder how many people 40 or 50 years ago knew about cooked bones being risky for dogs. It was weird, but my family gave the dogs cooked bones, like those hard pork chop bones, steak bones, you name it. All we ever heard was "No chicken bones." And my Dad did say not to give those ones their teeth could get stuck in. It's weird. None of our dogs ever had any issues with splintering or perforating their intestines. They must have just been lucky because it sure could happen. Ever since I was an adult with my own dogs, I never felt right about cooked bones even though there still wasn't much talk about it, even 30-40 years ago. Now, with the Internet and maybe more vets mentioning it or something, it's quite widely known I think about just giving raw bones.

Anyhow, so glad she didn't wind up getting hurt around her teeth or jaw and that everything turned out fine.

Thank you both, yes the vet said she was shocked at how little damage was done. She said she was shocked that she didn't rip her _____. Lol I can't remember what she called it, but she expected her to have torn something. All she has is a little swelling and she's 100% herself today.
