Victor and Jory

Now that Jory has learned to behave in a way that does not make Victor worry, they have become good friends.
I really think Victor thinks he IS a 7 yr old boy. The pics aren't great, but they mean a lot to me.
One time many years ago Victor attached himself emotional to a small crying boy at the guild. Staying with him,
hung ears, sad expression, drooped tail, and then nuzzled the boy's ear in little nudges until he had him smiling.
Jory is going to need a lot of nuzzling for he has some pretty big issues to face. I am glad Victor is growing close to him.

I love how in the second picture they're both sitting and facing almost the same way!

They do look like great friends! Every kid needs a good dog as a pal

We watch tv on the computer so that is what they were doing. That is what Victor does, he sits the same and if they are crying, he looks as sad as they do. If they are happy, then he is happy too. It is what made him such a good therapy dog. He really seems to know exactly what they need him to be.

vid of what we do for entertainment. I have a vid where the airplane goes right through his mouth like a big tunnel but you have to take it at slow speed and I don't know how to do that on here. He has a very dry mouth, he use to deliver greeting cards in hospitals so airplanes last a long time. His ear nuzzles are so soft. clickie

Victor also gave Jory his "present" many times. He gets a rawhide all gooey and with big sincere eyes lays it in your lap or on the sofa beside you. Jory picked it up, and remembering to pretend to chew it, gave it back with a thank you. That makes Victor happy.
