I just saw a news segment about this on ESPN:

Somebody bought the property where Michael Vick conducted his dogfighting business. He bought it from Vick for $450,000 three weeks ago.

Get this....the owner is going to open it up for the public to "tour". Then, the real estate agent is going to AUCTION it off to the highest bidder! And they're auctioning it off with all "memorabilia" intact---dog collars, chains, doghouses, dogfighting barns, empty syringes, the works. The owner has said he won't sell for less than a million dollars.

How incredibly disgusting can a person be??

You would think it would have been taken away and marked as evidence, all the dog fighting stuff. But I guess its a quick way to make a buck! hopefully the seller is going to donate some of the profits to a rescue orginization. But taht is just wishful thinking.

I don't see how they are going to make that much money doing it . . . there can't be THAT many people willing to travel all the way out there to see that stuff. Even if they are sick enough to see it anyway.

I found this article and it doesn't really say anything about tours and stuff...
I have to say... that house for $450,000? You'd get a condo for that in Northern Virginia/DC!

Todd said he's planning to sell refreshments during the auction and hopes to donate the proceeds from those sales to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
How about donating a good chunk of change from the proceeds of selling the house?

"We've talked about a bed-and-breakfast," he said. "All the bedrooms have their own bathroom, and we could incorporate the kennels in the back: Bring your pet."
Apparently this guy has never had a dog?

They can't wash away the smell of death. Any dog brought into that place is going to freak out.

That house here would be way 450,000. More like 800,000-1 million. Housing prices in California are ridiculous.
Yup, that house here in NoVA with that much property would be worth upwards of a 1.5-2.0 million. I have friends with a 3200 sq. ft. house that have had it on the market for 1.2M and it's on .10 of an acre.
