Timber is getting neutered today. Please send him some vibes that nothing happens while he's under :(

Also, Cash my current foster is also getting neutered today. Send him some vibes too, he really needs it. Poor boy lost his companion not too long ago and the owners don't want him anymore. Way too many changes for him in such a short time.

Awww...poor Cash. How could owners not "want" their dog anymore? Is there something awful about him? He looks adorable. Poor guy. I send my vibes for both him and Timber that everything goes smoothly for them. It almost always does so don't worry.

Nope nothing awful at all. He is the sweetest dog. I haven't had him long but he has definitely attached himself to me, which isn't always good because he can't stay with us forever (unfortunatley :( ) So there will eventually be another big change for him when we find him a forever home. Mastiffs always take it pretty hard :(

Mastiffs DO take it hard :( Some people need to be . . . well . . . :madgo:

~~~~~~Vibes~~~~~~ for both boys. They'll be fine and you'll be going crazy trying to keep them quiet.
Hopefully Cash will eat in the next couple of days. He didn't even want some really stinky treats yesterday.
He is really pulling on my heart strings....
How could he not?
I wish Cristy (Sweet) could take him. She could mend his broken heart.
Maybe something really savory would appeal to him? Sometimes dogs need comfort food just like we do.
I found that liquefied liver works wonders. If I put chunks they just pick it out and leave the kibble. Saucy liver covers it all so they eat the kibble too :)
Hope my boys are doing okay.
Ohhhhh....I wish you could keep him. He'll find a good home though, I'm sure. He looks irresistable. If I didn't have these dogs and weren't at my max, I'd snatch him up in a heart beat. Good luck.
~~~vibes~~~

Stay safe guys! I'm so sorry, Cash! Some people don't realize the years of commitment you have to give to an animal (and those people shouldn't be allowed animals!!!).

Just got a call from the vet, both Timber & Cash are doing good. No problems during their surgeries :D

Now to keep Timber settled and calm is a whole different story :rolleyes:

Yup. Both boys are coming home tonight :)
Can't wait to squish my Timber boy! I know Tynan is going to go crazy when he gets home. Tynan loves his brothers so much it's insane, lol.

HELP!! Can't get Timber to settle down. All he wants to do is play and wrestle. He is a houdini dog and can escape his crate, lol.

Never had a problem keeping the others calm after a neuter. Any suggestions?

Feed him turkey and give him something that will keep him busy chewing on it. And solitude.

He's probably thrown off all the effects of the sedation by now and is well rested ;)
