PW - if you have trouble with finding curries or want some for free, I have tons of indian spices I got in bulk at an asian grocery and don't use. They are legit, way better than you can get at whole foods or similar, but I spend significant portions of my day in small enclosed spaces with people and can't smell like curry. . . so I don't make it any more. :(

Best, easist recipe ever: Pioneer Woman: Carrot-Thyme Soup

I would not say no to that! If you really aren't going to use them just let me know when you're going to ship them and I can paypal you shipping monies.

I also seriously need an immersion blender. So many good soups, so little immersion blender :p

I don't have a paypal but I doubt shipping them would break the bank. I think they'll fit in one of the little "if it fits, it ships" boxes from the post office. PM me your address and I can try to send them out Friday - I should have time to run to the post office then. Or tomorrow if it snows! DONUTS IN THE PARKING LOT ON MY LUNCH BREAK FTW.

You can pick them up at estate sales and thrift stores and ebay and such for super cheap. I really recommend it. It's one of the most useful kitchen tools I have.

The immersion blender is one of those things that I always want, but forget when I have some extra cash.

It's really becoming a necessity though! Nothing like warm pumpkin and squash puree soup to get you through a Minnesota winter!

I LOVE the Vitamix! Makes delicious hot soups from scratch, home made peanut butter, sorbets, smoothies, and basically everything else.

Cheese(or dairy in general) is an in-between. Some people are okay with it, others it causes too many issues. I'm one of the unlucky ones. :( So no cheese for me.

Off topic, but I think I'd kill myself before giving up cheese. LOL

I made veggie curry last night :) I usually just use what every veggies we have in the fridge! Last night it was onion, carrots, bell peppers and pak choi. Throw those in a skillet until soft (if you are going to add pak choi add that at the end... it gets mushy fast) then add coconut milk and curry. :) Eat over rice. It's so easy, but soo good :)
