What a sad, sad situation. I am going to keep my opinion to myself here.
    How is she doing?

This is pretty much my view on the situation. I cant put someone else's dog before my own child. As cruel and evil as that may sound to other members, thats just how I feel being 8 months pregnant with a baby. Its certainly A lose lose situation. All I can do is suggest ideas to my mother about her dog that needs to see a vet ASAP.

My mom would never put down her dog, so I know that suggestion is out the window. Whatever it is that is wrong with her dog, I know its going to be much worse by next wednesday. My mom is lucky that Brandon gets paid again before she does and is willing to give her money, otherwise she would have to wait until the 3rd of next month to get her dog seen.

She still doesnt look like she is in any pain when she urinates, but there still is blood in her pee. She squats to pee a bunch of times and nothing comes out, which with my own experience with UTIs tells me that she does have a bladder infection.

I know. Whether she even makes it to next wednesday is questionable.

Sorry this again may not be popular but do you not have a humane society? If I knew someone was neglecting a dog like this, whoever it was, I would report them at least that way the dog may get some relief and possibly a decent home to go to after treatment.

Considering the long list of why the dog doesn't go to the vet............one could also assume that the dog is also not fixed. But I will ask again......
    IS THIS DOG SPAYED??

I know that I keep checking up on this thread as well..

I hope everything is going semi smoothly..

We had a case like this come into work - she was urinating pure blood. She had a mass in her abdomen and went onto some medication and the pure blood stopped.

Sounds like she is in pain though - who pees blood who ISN"T in pain.
It could be a UTI, could be bladder stones, could be cancer..

could be a WHOLE wack of things..

    that poor poor dog.

Honstly - people should NOT own dogs if they can not afford them.

They are a luxury in our life, not a must have accessory.

You keep saying you have to think of your child first...well...if the dog is as aggressive as you say, wouldn't it be a danger to your child? Just wondering..I hope everything works out ok.

If it's a UTI, it's pretty far advanced because in the beginning, blood would not likely be seen....not until there is tissue and capilary damage. This poor dog is likely suffering. People should not have dogs if they don't have the funds to care for them. So sad.

OK , I'm not real sure why this isn't being turned in . A uti hurts like HE!!. When you try to pee and nothing comes out it is excruciating.

Ya it is well advanced in my opinion from what I see here, usually after 75% blood a plug (tissue) coagulation forms and piddle will eventually stop completely and cause death. It's sad really, because there would have been symptoms in the early stages to avoid this.
If it's not to late, and the plug didn't form yet, you need to go to the vet ASAP or the dog will suffer similiar to that of antifreeze poisoning from within if plugged. If the plug rooted the canal either pay 2,000.00 plus (chances of survival are very slim) or PTS.
This dog is suffering. Can I ask what food you have him eating most his life?
