    OMG. I thought it was bad enough and then saw that's he's 12 years old. . .even worse! Ugh.

    Well, I think it is a horrible thing to do for the stated reason.The only good thing I can see is that he is not being dumped in a shelter.

    Poor little man, I hope he finds a good home that will cherish him in his final years.

    My aunt did that to her cat..once her kids were grown and gone she dumped the older cat at a (thankfully no kill) shelter. She didn't tell anyone she was doing it, or someone would gladly have taken the poor cat in. A family member is trying to adopt the cat now (it's a really weird shelter with about three pages of rules in order to adopt, so they're gathering all of the appropriate info). Ridiculous

    That's awful......................and a Corgi too, who could get rid of one of those, and especially they describe he is genle and well behaved
    I have a big soft spot for senior dogs....................almost thinking of e mailing her, but I already have one "queen of the castle" type dogs here- I always wonder if she could get along with a corgi
