Hi all - this is really going to only apply to our Australian members, but I had to post anyway...

Ring Murdoch Vets if you're interested.

Please let me know if you or any of your friends would be in a position
to give a new home to these 2 beautiful Labradors....see below

These 2 beautiful labs have been handed to the Murdoch Vet to be put
down but the Vet nurses haven't got the heart to do so, so they are
asking anyone if they perhaps know of anyone who would like to take
    them.

I'm sending to you, just in case you might know of someone. I would
love to take them but we just can't.

Please let me know if you do know anyone, if not at least we tried - you
    just never know!!!!!

They are only 20 months old male and female, sterilized, microchipped
and vaccinated and well trained - their owners split up and both have
demanding jobs so neither can keep them:-(

You know, every time I see your location as `WA' I think - cool! I live there too! But of course I know you mean Washington (well, I think that's what you mean) not Western Australia! :D

Oh, that is so sad if the put them down. How awful! I should think they'd be easy to find homes for....all trained, no behavior problems? They're beautiful. I do hope they get homes. Let us know, K?

I hope they find homes. I really, really do.

I would take them in a heartbeat.. look into those eyes. Gah. How can people just throw away family like that?

    Ok. I am SO mad.

I forwarded this email to a friend of mine who breeds Labs. She immediately contacted Murdoch vet hospital and it's all bogus - apparently a cruel hoax email sent around by the teenaged child of a couple who are going through a divorce.

Murdoch, which is the most respected teaching veterinary and emergency institution in Western Australia, has made it known that this never happened and that they would never have had those labs pts if it had.

    Some people! Grrrrrrrr

Whoa... that is insane! Why would anyone go through all of the trouble to make up something like that?! I don't understand some people! That is just ridiculous... ugh.

ACK! Confusing... It didn't seem right that the vet would put two healthy dogs to sleep, though. I doubt that first email was really true.
