GG had her put down this afternoon...no one is terribly sad for she had a very long and happy life, 15 more years then she ever would have had since i found her at the shelter on her last day..in fact her last hour. We figure she was 17 or 18 years old but do not know for sure. She never really bonded with anyone, but had a happy existance in a nice big home with a nice big yard. Just thought i would wish her a happy trail in her next life..she had lost the ability to control both her bowels and her bladder, was completely deaf and was senile,, it was time. Rest in Peace Trudy Blue.

Isn't it lovely to be able to look back and know that Trudy had such a long, happy life - one that could so easily have been over far too soon? Your descriptions of her always sound like she was the perfect match for your Mom. You have so many friends looking over you and yours now, Smkie.

I guess Bronki is showing her the lay of the land now . . .

Oh, I'm so glad she had such a good, long life with you. What a lucky dog! It's nice when you can look back and remember her good times and then when it's her time to go, feel satisfied and secure in your choice to send her on her way. Bless.

God bless you both for giving Trudy such a fullfilled life. I'm sure she's looking down on you both and thanking both of you for the life you've given her! Eventhough as you say, never bonded with anyone, I'm sure she realized what a wonderful life she had.

I bless you, GG and Trudy! R.I.P.!!!! ((((HUgS)))) to all of you

((more hugs)) It's great that Trudy had such a long life when it could have been so short. I'm sure she thanks you from her lil doggy heart. And you'll see her again one day.

Oh Smkie, I just read this today. I'm so sorry to hear about Trudy. I know you and your mom gave her a fulfilling life and she did the same for both of you. Please tell GG how sorry I am to hear about Trudy but to know she will live on in her heart forever. I know Trudy is with my Fluffy & Brandy in Doggie Heaven. I'm glad GG has Mr. Schaffer to keep her company.
