If you've used it, how do you like it as a detangler?
What does it smell like?

This is for a dog with poofy, very thick tail and butt/leg feathers.

If you can find it on sale for the 16 oz bottle for 9.99, I'd try it. For the 16-19 bucks I've seen it for I'd pass.

Anything silicone based works pretty much the same. Horse products work well and are often cheaper like cowboy magic.

Yeah I found it way cheap on amazon... the current bottle of detangler i have John Paul pet and its kinda meh for her poofies but fine for my own hair.

I had some horse stuff.... I think it was the Eqyss Marigold.... it worked awesome, but smelled pretty strongly. Not bad, but I'm not really into the doggie foo-foo stuff. So if I don't like the tropiclean I will probably go back to that, but I like that Tropiclean doesn't have parabens and other crap in it.

Meh, I guess I'll try it and post a review!

I've never used their de-mat shampoo but we use tropiclean all the time. We get it local for 5-6.00 for a 16oz bottle. i love it, leaves my dogs smelling nice and very soft!

I actually ended up ordering Ruff to Smooth made by Happy Tails Spa.

I prefer to use products on both me, them, and for housecleaning that are chemical/petroleum free and the reviews were resoundingly good. I really hate fakey scented stuff too, so since I love real lavender this was probably a smarter move. I ordered it on amazon for cheaper, but here is the maker's website. All Natural Dog Shampoo & Spa Products | Itchy Dry Dog Skin, Arthritis Remedies | Pet Odor Removal | Wholesale Dog Supplies

I'll put up a review once it gets here and I try it out! :)
