I love the scenery there! I don't think I could handle all the rain, I'd miss my sunshine, but I really would love to hike around that area.

The dogs look awesome, Backup always looks worried with his cute lemur face!

Backup is so easy to photograph (when he's not moving) he's such a weirdo.

I really wanted snow as well but I'll take shinny green!

    Thanks for the compliments all!

LOL! That is a great picture :rofl1:

I think my aversion to mud + hiking is 80% "I'm going to fall forward and crush my mud-encrusted camera" and 20% "I am going to slip and die". Priorities. I also keep meaning to get a camera sleeve/rain cover because the D90 isn't weather proof and I'm incredibly clumsy. Just yesterday I was taking pictures and when it started raining, I looked up and decided to keep shooting and take the chance xD

    Thanks so much!

I would love a waterproof camera, really! As it is Denis was looking at my lens hood yesterday and said, do you think this is a sign you shouldn't be so hard on your camera? I laughed and said, What fun would that be? :p

How do you manage to not lose the Wubbas in the woods?

It's almost impossible to lose a toy with these two. Backup never drops his and Sloan obsessively fetches them, it's actually a game we play, we try to lose her wubba and she stumps us.
