I posted last week that I was loosing my 15 year old Chihuahua Tia who was in heart failure (for 3 years now) and looked like she had decided to join Rosie on the bridge. While I understood that I wasn't going to have her much longer, I was devastated over how quickly she seemed to loose her spunk and how ill she had become. She had started to vomit and also had really bad diarrhea and nothing that I gave her stayed in her. Her weight went from over 3 lbs. which was her usual sleek, svelte weight to dangerously thin in a matter of days. I took her to the Vet. to see if there was anything that I could do to make her last bit of time here the best it could be.
She was put on flagil and my Vet., who I absolutely love, said that it was all that she could really do as I did not want anything done to her at this point that would possible hurt or stress her in any way.

Well, that was last Thursday...this is how she was, she wouldn't even pick her head up..:(

And this is Tia today....my 15 year old puppy...EVERY DAY IS A GIFT!!!:D
I guess Rosie will have to wait a little longer, Tia's not ready just yet...

Oh I am so glad she is ok. She seems so full of life, I never would have guessed she was once on the edge of it.

You're right, Doc, that's a gift. No one would ever guess she was the same dog in the photo. She's feeling so good in that video that she doesn't even want to PLAY dead :D

LMAO - I never thought of that but you're right!! She usually "hits the deck" when I shoot her but I guess once one's come so close...well, ;) no need to tempt fate!

No corona but I'm not sure what made her so sick. Tia and Tinker only go on car trips and all my dogs had titers run recently...
Yes, a gereatric club....you weren't talking about me were you...for the dogs right???:D  hehe, great idea!

glad to hear, and see, that Tia is so much better. :)

I can definitely understand why she wouldn't want to "play" dead though.
