three dogs and one bone

hahahaha this is how this is going down..i bought Victor a leather chew..it is suppose to be free of everything and from free range cows..supppose to be safe as can be, but the dang thing cost a lot. So Shaffer is here, along with mary and VIc. All three want the bone..Shaffer comes up to me for loving, and while i am doing that Mary gets up on my lap almost. (a very rare and suprising thing until i figured out what she was up to) that made Victor jealous enuff to drop the bone. Mary flew off of me and snatched it up. Now she has it and is chewing away.(she doens't even like it that much either) Victor has picked up his squeeky toy and is holding over her head squeeking away like it is the most wonderful toy in the world..he even drops it on her and then picks it back up..she isn't falling for it..and neither is shaffer who is watching mary like a hawk..wish i had this on video for i find it terribly entertaining..hehehe this will go on for the rest of the afternoon.

Awww, poor Vic! it was very much a case of "Move it or lose it!!" They are so childish aren't they!! lol!

his friend has gone home, sigh it is so quiet and peaceful now..hurrayy..Mr Shaffer doesn't play with toys at his home, but here with Vic it is play non stop..if they were people boys they would be having pillow fights into the wee hours of the morning. Vic is just all grins and freckles and Mr shaffer acts like a shaffy boy when he is here..he acts more his age and lets loose with some mighty silly behavior. My living room is a disaster, knocked over everything..the rope they played tug with is in strings everywhere as well..there is a bit of stuffing i still have to find out where it came from, but they had sooooo much fun. Next week..we will do this again. One night is enuff for me!

That scene happens so often here, lol! Add in Kharma and Shiva taking turns going to the window and barking like there is something outside so the other one will run to the door to be let out Kharma is slick enough to snag whatever it is she wants and quietly disappear to the bedroom. Shiva will forget for awhile, but suddenly it will dawn on her that Kharma - and the treasure du jour - are missing and she'll stalk off indignantly to the bedroom, occasionally emerging triumphantly holding the prize, but sometimes slinking back without it, lol!

i dont' know if you ever saw my boomer video..but in it boomer has the bumper and Vic trys in one grab to take it from him..i have listened to the smack sound several times and cracked up..nobody gonna take BOOMER'S bird out of his mouth. He had a firm grip. They are so much fun to watch. AT the burned house i had a huge back yard. Complete with shed. Tatey was my excavator. She tunneled under that shed quite a bit. Once she got stuck and we had to get the shovel and dig around her to get her free. AAron went thru the tunnel under the shed and said Hey mom their's rooms in here..including a back exit. Sally would steal a toy and shoot under that shed..and be out the back in the blink of an eye..leaving the toy underneath. I figure there is quite a stash under there They would thunder across the deck like a herd of buffalos..i had a dog family in the real sense. mom..tatey, bin, dad, sally and Mary. sisters. They were tender with each other in a way that i don't think other dogs could be..Bin was a husband..he would kiss tatey's ears (even tho she was fixed) and was so loving to her for all their time together. I wish you all could have met them. It is one experience in my life i feel bless thrice over.
