Yeah, I'd read about chicken jerky from China causing illness... that's when I bought a food dehydrator and started making my own dog treats.

I have some chicken jerky, but not from any of those brands/manufacturers. Debating whether or not to just throw it away anyway.

Holy cow! Scary! I don't trust anything from China.

That is so very sad. Those poor dogs and their owners.

I hope what I have isn't tainted. It's Trader Joe's brand. So far, my dogs haven't shown any illness and they've been having these treats for quite some time...from this bag. It's getting to be dangerous to buy any commercial food.

Nestle Purina and Del Monte officials said their treats are safe and FDA regulators said repeated tests have shown no absolute tie to any brand or manufacturer.
What does this mean? That it is not a positive thing....which brands?

I use to always make home made treats. I guess I better do that again. Of course, the next thing you know,
"Chicken livers being recalled for containing high levels of deadly __(fill in the blank)_______."::mad:
