VIctor and Pepper have been a lot closer since Mary passed. Now they sleep in the same chair together, and play a ton more. Especially since we have more room. WE can haz Zooooomies INDOORS!!!! WOOT!
Anyway today a friend came over with her dog. HEr dog wurvs Pepper and wished to do some canine dancing (you know what I mean) and PEpper was kind of boxed in between the desk and the coffee table so she couldn't get away from him. HE is about 5 times her size. THat was when i saw VIctor go over and stand next to her with his eyes big and round, his pupils dilated, his neck a little stretched over her, his ears forward. THis means he is deadly serious about whatever is going on must stop. HIs posture said the same. Higgs stopped pawing at her. Victor has always looked at her as the pesky little sister. Today he came to her as protection. SO that is new and I really like it! HE never stops surprising me with his intelligence and his common sense. HE doesnt' over react, he assess the situation and acts appropriately. I couldn't ask for more.
