I'm currently feeding totw and I found a store that sells it that's not overly priced..is it worth the price difference between totw..also is it better than nature's variety? Those who fed orjin or have fed it, did you like the results, and if you switched from totw to orjin did you see better results?

Atleast for now the money isn't an issue, I just want to know if its worth the cost. Also what other foods would you recommend, I tried nv and they loved it, I just want to try orjin because its something they haven't tried before. Also idk exactly the name of it, but I saw this dog food, it was a green bag and it was very "organic" and fairly priced, anyone know what I'm talking about and is that food any good? I think it had a golden retriever on the front.
I really liked orijen. Now I am Canadian so its cheaper for us than many of the american imports.
I think its much closer to a raw diet (due to it being 'rich' a raw diet is high in fats and proteins and low in carbs) so it worked well on my dogs who have all been raised on raw. Sadly due to financial reasons I am not feeding raw or orijen. Of all the kibbles its been my fave for all my dogs.

I think Orijen and Acana are definitely above TOTW in terms of quality control, production, company, etc. TOTW is a Diamond food which some are uncomfortable with. I prefer Champion since they manufacture their own food. With that said, if your dog does terrible on Orijen, but does amazing on TOTW, then obviously TOTW is a superior food for you and your dog.
I prefer Acana over Orijen though - I'm just not sure if the richness, very high protein of Orijen is necessary for most pet dogs. It seems like it may be a bit TOO much of a good thing for some dogs. After a few months of feeding lower protein/lower fat/grain inclusive foods to Jackson, I noticed a big difference once I started Acana again. He ate Acana for over a year, we did a few months of TOTW, then he had a little GI issue (due to somethng else) so we switched to the lower fat foods for a bit, but are on our 2nd bag of Acana again. His hair is softer to touch, shinier, not as dull (he had also started 'shedding' a bit and he's a non-shedding dog, since back on Acana - no more!), I can see more muscle tone on him, poops are good - he gets the occasional soft poo while we are on walks but only on walks and he's always done this, so I dunno.
Anyways I love Acana. I don't think it's any worse than Orijen, in fact sometimes I think it's better, and it's cheaper. So it works for us. I plan on keeping him on this again, as well as trying their new formulas coming out (grain inclusive) and then also adding Fromm grain-free into the rotation.

Out of those options, I definitely prefer Nature's Variety Instinct! TOTW has tons of potato in it.
