The Venting Thread

My daughter let my cell phone fall off her lap when getting out of the car last night. It fell on the pavement and broke. The screen didn't even crack. And I think the functions are perhaps still working. You just can't see anything....it's all black. I haven't had that thing more than a couple months. I'm sooooo bummed.

I just walked dogs for about 7 hours today. I am exhausted and smelly but too tired to shower.
but also do not want to touch my bed while I still smell like dog.

which leaves me here, on the ground.. laying here pondering life decisions lol

Some woman today thought I was in high school.

My muscles hurt from my running class.

And I have no idea what I want to do with my life.

My vent for today: Great Danes that have select off switches and assume that everytime you stretch or fidget it's time for fun things. Wish he would take a hint from the herding girls and just relax cuz I don't feel good!

Rumor does this and it makes me want to slap her. I blink and she takes off running.

I did have a vent about a freaking long day at work and no time off....but now I've had a few drinks and life is looking better. So no more vent. LOL

This morning I was woken up at 5 am by dog puke splattering all over my face and arms.

Good news is the rest of the day went much better. But ugh I was pissed. Less pissed about being puked on and having to strip the covers off the bed and moreso just pissed I missed out on 30 more minutes of sleep.

Middle of the night Backup jumped on Denis' head an gagged, Denis shoved the dog on me, I shoved him on the floor but too late, I threw the puke pillow on the floor and returned to sleep. Lol

I am having a relapse with whatever sickness this is I have. Throat is still sore but specifically on the right side and hurts
To swallow or yawn. Major headache and back pain but i really think the back pain is part of this cold. I don't have time this week to be sick or see the doc but if i am still sick come monday i have no choice but to go in and get checked out.

Ah, those were the days. I can remember just climbing directly into the shower and washing us both up. Both kids had an uncanny knack for puking down my back.

she never has before but since the switch in the hospital shes got me about 5 times. Not to mention the times where she just got herself.

I seriously, seriously, really, really, honestly do not at all under any circumstances enjoy being startled by people. I really, really, really hate it, in fact. Like, a lot.

This is not a secret.

But somehow, my sister and mom thought it'd be funny to, when they came over to go for a walk with me this evening, hide their faces in the gaps of the blinds next to my computer and wait for me to notice.

When I screamed, jumped up, and walked to my bedroom (to collect myself, stop shaking, and keep from crying) they decided I wasn't being a good sport, and left.

Hope it was really funny, guys! Because the rest of my evening is ruined! Thanks so much!

I apparently have a stye. That spontaneously developed this afternoon. My lower eyelid hurtsssss and omg I don't want to have a pimple looking thing on my eye. That part hasn't developed yet but I'm sure it will!
But maybe this would explain why my eye's been watering a ridiculous amount lately.

I have an awesome, brilliant idea for a new business that would do amazingly well here in the Denver market.

However, I currently lack the start-up capital needed to get going, even with the couple of backers I already have on board.

If I'm going to have no life because of working, I'd rather it be for some better cause.

Screw 'em! And reach out and try making your own new friends (I know you work a lot and that can make it hard :/).

Are there any training groups/clubs in your area? I've found that with some digging, there are groups of people who do simple things like walking dogs as a group almost everywhere.

I was so lucky that I knew Megan (SpringerLover) from Chaz before I moved here, or else I probably never would have gone out and made friends. But now I have some of the best dog friends ever!

Eww, I can relate. I went through a period of getting them quite often. I'm sure you know but don't touch it, hot compress, and if it gets worse get to a doctor. If left untreated they can block your tear duct and talk about painful...and gross.
