I had super short shifts before I got into the vet tech thing. But depends on the money you need too because obviously you're not going to make much if you only work a couple hours. My pizza place job had me only working 3-4 hour shifts (just the busy dinner rush) and my kennel assistant job is mostly 2-3 hour shifts, with 5-6 hours on Saturdays. But those hours were only suitable while I was in school. Had to get a second job to supplement the kenneling income once I finished school. Personally, I wish I could work some more long days, and get a couple days off. I'm not even working FT hours right now but I only get every other weekend off, it's just irritating knowing that I have to go into work every day, even if it's only for 3 hours. Yeah I was ready to cry when I paid $75 (I think) for my current pair of shoes. And the sucky part is, you don't even know if they're going to be a good pair of shoes until you start wearing them... so I was afraid they were going to be a waste of money. But these shoes are definitely way more worth the money than my $20 Payless shoes were.
