My husband was not a dog person at all until he was introduced to the awesome that is Crossbone & introduced to agility. While I can't get him to actually handle Cross in agility YET he does like to attend classes and trials. Last night he told me that he thinks we're not spending enough time & money on Crossbone's classes, training and trialing!

They are out there and they are adaptable & trainable!!

And shelties and BC's get along well and he'll need someone to show him the ropes... ;)
I'M SAYIN'. IT'S PERFECT.
But nooooo, because my FRIEND doesn't like him, he won't INTRODUCE us. I said you don't HAVE to like him. YOU'RE not dating him. But noooo!

A bobcat killed ALL of our chickens the night before last! :(

On the topic of meeting guys and multiple dogs...

I think I'm lucky that I met my man back in the day, before I was a crazy dog lady (I didn't even have Jasper yet!). I mean, I always loved dogs but I didn't always have 3 of them.

I asked him today if he would be put off by all my dogs and my dog craziness, if he was just meeting me now. He thought long and hard about it and finally said, well, it could be worse, you could be a meth addict.

Ooookay then.

He was kidding, but still I do think it's been better this way, he's had a chance to get accustomed to the idea with each dog!

Ryan and I started with the understanding that he won't complain about the dogs I bring home, and I won't complain about the cars he brings home :p

He also works with Frodo and Siri on the tricks they know, and he especially loves to play tug with Siri, and it is ADORABLE!
He doesn't actively train them or anything, though I know if I had a suitable dog for it he would run agility with them. Not train them in agility, mind you, but run them in agility. Which I think is awesome.

Why can't they write doctor's notes for mental things like it's a cold? I need to take like three days off in a row.

My ex kind of randomly showed up at my house today to "catch up" and see how I'm doing.

I want to be on good terms...but good terms via the occasional text and message relayed through his mom.

Now I have to tell Shane about it.

Oh joy.

I went and bought a new alarm clock today because mine had been acting kind of wonky last couple weeks. After plugging the new one in, I discovered that there was never anything wrong with my clock in the first place; it's the stupid outlet. So now I have a spare alarm clock. First world problems.

Also the weathermen totally lied and today's weather SUCKED but I had myself all amped expecting a nice day, so we went out anyway. Juno thoroughly hates me for it because we ended up getting stuck walking through wind gusts and blowing snow. I hate myself for it because my legs and face were frozen and my eardrums felt like they were going to explode from the wind.

If one more person from work or life tries to sell me scentsy/passion party/slumber parties/thirty-one/avon products.
Especially under the ruse of being invited over for something (this has happened TWICE)
I am going to lose my mind.
STOP IT. STOP IT RIGHT NOW.

I KNOW you are selling these things, thanks to the 70000 facebook updates per day (but you know what fine, it's your FB feed, that's your choice) accosting me in FB messages or texting me or inviting me over and AMBUSHING is annoying as hell.

If I wanted these products, I know you sell them, I know 50 people who sell them, I WILL COME TO YOU. LEAVE ME BE I AM STARTING TO RESENT YOU.

Says the girl who now has 500 scentsy bars, cheap makeup she will NEVER use and will likely give her a rash, an ugly lunchbox with her name on it
and a vibrator which I have no complaints about BUT STILL! haha

I am all about supporting small businesses and my friends. I shop on etsy stores for those who make things, I go to their new restaurants, I hire them as photographers, I do what I can..
but these things are so just UGHHHHH the sales strategies are so annoying and it's just so temporary. I just resent having to get stuff that they didn't make and that they aren't even getting all the money for.

LEARN TO MAKE CANDLES! LEARN TO KNIT! MAKE SOAP! DO SOMETHING THAT I CAN BUY FROM YOU BECAUSE I WANT TO AND THAT IS SPECIALLY YOU!

Ugh Fran, I totally agree. It's so annoying. I despise those home party things. It's all "oh just come... You don't have to buy anything". "Well you bought something.... You know... If you book to host a party we bith get free stuff" "oh you booked a party... Hey you should sign up to be a consultant under me and we both get commission". ARGH... It never ends and it's just pressure in a
Pyramid scheme.

To put it out there, I admit that I sell both Thirty-One and Scentsy, but I try pretty durn hard to not be pushy or annoying. I don't do home parties (well, I have someone doing one Saturday, but it was her idea), and I sure as hell would never lie to someone or trick someone into coming over and then ambush them. Honestly, those parties make me cringe, because I know I don't like being put on the spot., so I don't want to ever do that to someone else. I pretty much just do retail orders, whether they come to me or order online. I also don't recruit people to sign up under me. All this probaby explains why I don't bring in the big bucks, but I not doing it for that. For me, I truly enjoy the products, I do enjoy the people (mainly some other consultants that have becoe friends) I've met, and the income has truly been a blessing, especially now that we're saving for this upcoming service dog pup and the training it wil require.

I am not an artsy or crafty person, so there's nothing that I could do along the lines of etsy stuff.

I'm sorry if that's offensive to you. I'm not like many of the other consultants that all fall not the group you've described, but I often get lumped with them just the same.

Got bit at work tonight. It was just a level 2. No punctures but this mother effer is going to bruise. The dog had excellent bite inhibition, I think? He took multiple chomps on me but I don't even have a flap of skin missing. Just a crap ton of pressure with each chomp.

Ugh. I already took ibuprofen and iced it. It hurts like a beyotch right now. And of course it's my right forearm.

Second bite working in the field. First was a cat. I went to urgent care for that one. I just want to avoid the bruising/swelling/general annoyance with having my dominant hand painful when I do stuff.

Whine. Or wine.

Lightroom is just too confusing for me. I may have to actually use a tutorial this time around! Usually I just play around with editing programs and get results I approve of, but this is just not coming to me!

So all of my friends already have a date to prom. I don't even have a guy friend, so actually having a date to prom probably wouldn't happen. Which just makes me depressed.*Forever alone*
