Went to the dentist today to get a check up/exam and get cleared for our Italy orders. I got xrays done, sat around and did paperwork until the woman came to look in my mouth.
She looked over once, looked at the xrays mumbling about "So Weird" and then checked my mouth again. And again. And again. And one more time.
Apparently, there is this massive cavity on my xray that she couldn't see in my mouth. It just wasn't there, but it showed on the xrays pretty clearly. She finally decided to write it off and told me to just get it looked at again when we get to Aviano. Everything's good, I go home.
Jin comes yelling for me about an hour later, saying someone called his phone for me. It's this same woman from the Dental Clinic. She said she just can't let it go. She has to see it again. So she warned me that if she has any last minute cancellations, she's going to call me in and she's going to probably drill in my tooth and see what's going on because it's just apparently "SO WEIRD" that I have a "missing" cavity.
Honestly, the more I think of it...I think it's a cavity that is probably healing on its own thanks to an awesome diet and such. So, having her drill in there and ruin all that awesome healing is going to so, so suck.
But it's not like the dental community believes you can "heal" cavities anyway, so. I'm screwed regardless.
