The Venting Thread

Thank you, all, I'm not ready for this but I'm sure I'm not supposed to be. We're trying to remove the dishwasher now to cut a hole in the wall and fix the tub/shower.

While at work our safety system broke down. Doors were broken, the boys got in a fight, and somehow they and Sloan got locked in the bathroom. When Denis got home he had to kick in the door and found B at the bottom of the tub, the room flooded, and we put Arnold down at the vet having suffered severe damage. Somehow Sloan miraculously was untouched and Shamoo was at work with me.

My sweet, silly, crazy boy and my ever present partner are gone. I'm just, broken. I have no other way to describe it.

We're dealing with house damage and hoping Sloan isn't too emotionally damaged.

If you can spare them we can use your prayers, vibes, and well wishes because Shamoo has a vet appt on Monday asking for a health cert to clear her for flight. I don't want to leave her and she's a hardy dog who'll be spoiled rotten in AK.

Someone has been trash talking Wesley's breeder's breeding program, and by association mine as well, and the catch is that this person owns Wesley's littermate. She became friends with someone who has some issue with us, and now she has been saying all of this really damaging stuff about both Wesley's breeder and myself. It's hard to explain the feeling- like someone just pushed me down the stairs... I almost feel sick. I shouldn't, I should have a thicker skin than this- but this is coming from someone who was supposed to be a friend and almost like an extended family member. I am really upset, especially for Wesley's breeder who has had to deal with all of this in person. We are like a family, and when someone is trying to mess with your family you don't take that lightly.

Anyways, that's my vent.
