I don't even know what I'm doing anymore. My life is perfect and amazing, but I am so depressed. I am so depressed and I can't figure out why; I don't know if it's a medical thing (clinical depression, is that what that is?) or what, but it's horrible because I can't find a specific cause, so I can't fix it.

I don't want to be on medication, I don't want to change who I am because I am happy 95% of the time. It's just that 5% that makes me want to give up, because when I'm like this I can't think about the good things, all I think about is how pointless this all is, and why am I doing any of this.

I just want it to go away.

I'm sorry. Can you go talk to someone? Not for medications, but so you have someone to help you over the bumps?

I'm a failure at life and I'm a worthless burden to everyone.
No, you're not. I'm sorry people are making you feel that way :(

I'm so sorry you're feeling this way, but it's so not true!!

Just think about all the incredible praise you've received from the Zoo! Think of all the people you help on this forum! You have an awesome service dog, and a wicked cute companion dog.

Not a failure at all, and certainly not worthless.

Plus, baby geckos!

Volunteered for a festival next weekend. Volunteered Thursday/Friday/Saturday... Because those are days I'm free.

Get an email after saying orientation Wednesday. NO. I DID NOT SAY WEDNESDAY. I already volunteer elsewhere then -_-

People labeling dogs that they know nothing about based on one experience makes me want to tear my hair out.

Though not all/any are pit bulls or bully types, I now truly somewhat feel when people label things they know nothing about.

Re-occurring cold is kicking me on my ass. Started in my head, ran down my throat, lost my voice for a day or two, and now it's in my chest. I can't seem to get rid of this heavy, drowning feeling or the subsequent cough. I have tried EVERYTHING. It's a dry cough, too, so it's just driving me crazy and not making my voice any better. My entire chest and throat hurt just from coughing. Too far down for numbing spray and cough drops, too high for Mucinex or chest cold stuffs.

Dear US Military base,

FLY YOUR GOSH DARN HELICOPTERS SOMEWHERE ELSE. AND STOP FLYING THEM AT NIGHT.

There's a no-fly rule during 11pm and 5am in Germany. APARENTLY the base IGNORS this rule. They fly over here alot as it is (it's loud.) but a few nights in a row now, they've been flying at night. I got like 2 hours of sleep the lastfew nights because THEY ARE LOUD.
If you want to fly your helicopters at night, DO IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. Like in a deserted land. Not here. Not ever.

Sinceraly,

The person who likes their sleep.

Why did I agree to work this morning when it's supposed to be my day off? I have a tattoo appointment this afternoon and was planning to sleep in until I have to go, but we have SO many dogs scheduled to be at my work today that they really need an extra hand. I figured I could come help them open this morning and then leave for my appointment when the time comes. I forgot how early we open and I have to be at work at 5:30 and I live an hour drive away. I'm ridiculously tired and not used to being awake at this ungodly hour.

The ****ing rain ... When will it end :(

I know living in an area with a dry climate I should be thankful for the rain ESP during our dry season, but I just can bring myself to be ... NOT almost everyday & NOT when I have work because I had to stand out in it :( oh well at least it's not cold & I brought my rain suit.

I don know what's worse though; getting wet from the rain if I don't of the thing on (its PVC) or getting soaking wet from sweating in the darn thing because ts so hot to wear. :wall: just stop rain ... Please???

Did me turning 29 immediately make me bait for old guys? My last three messages on OKCupid were from a 57 year old guy, a 40 year old guy, and a 42 year old guy.

My preferred age range is 29-34.

And because I've decided all my reaction GIFs from now on should be Stefon:

COME ON.

I'm about one dirty old man message away from saying f*** it and deleting my profile and being done with this. FOREVER ALONE

NOOOOOOOOO!

Almond butter is pretty delicious and nutritionally superior. But more expensive. =< Also sunbutter is supposed to be really good!

I may not be able to make it through today without viciously beating someone over the head.

1. Guy calls, price checking for a neuter. Super offended that we have to do an exam before we can perform surgery on his dog. Also, angered that his current vet clinic charges so much and that we are all out to rip him off. Tell him that legally we need to have a valid doctor-patient relationship, just like if he were to go to the doctor for a surgery. He then said he was going to call Wisconsin because they probably don't have a law like that and promptly hung up on me.

2. New client opens the door to our tiny waiting area (the walls are glass windows so he could very easily see in), notices the boxer barking at his huge unleashed dog and just lets said huge unleashed dog meander into the waiting area.

3. Same new client as above is filling out paperwork, asks me what kind of dog his saint bernard is. He's owned the dog for three years.

4. New client can't find our clinic, holds me on the phone for the last 2 miles of her journey until she is safely in the parking lot.

5. Same new client as above lets her dog wonder up and down the hallway, dragging his leash. At least he's leashed.

That's it so far. What is up with people today?!

Ugh. A couple 'friends' of mine did something really shitty to a mutual friend of ours and I just found out about it. I'm seriously dumbfounded and sickened by it. It just pisses me off and is so out of character..... But there's email proof. :/. It's put someone they were supposedly friends with in a very compromising position by trying to take advantage of her.

It's just making me very very angry. And to think I really did like them too.
