I know I've vented about this before, but I just miss Lucy so much. :(
It's ridiculous and doesn't make sense, but I sometimes think, "She's still gone?" Like- okay, it's been long enough without her, when is she coming back?
I'd give anything for just 5 more minutes with her, to apologize for any time I fell short of what she deserved, to kiss her head, hug her, and tell her how much I loved her and always will.

Just spent the weekend having some ridiculous flashbacks to high school and trying to hang with the "cool" kids. Bf's best friends were in town because they were headlining a music festival and I was like "herp derp derp, let's all see just how awkward I can be because no dogs are involved!"

>_< so much for thinking I have myself put together and am actually confident person I thought I'd developed into...

I had the worst dream last night. :[ I dreamed that I was trying to get my final exam set up for my students and they wouldn't leave the classroom. I told them to go and they ignored me and ignored me... finally I told them if they didn't go, they'd all get zeros on the exam, which they ignored too.

It was awful; so stressful.

I'm changing the superpower I wish I had.

Duplication. I wish I could be more than one person. Since some people seem to think I am NOT in fact just one person... I would like to actually BE more than one person.

Gah RANT: There are no puppy classes here until September and by here I mean an hour and a half away. I am getting a little worried about socializing with other puppies and proper dogs.

I might see if the pet store will let me put a sign up to get a puppy socializing play date going.

Problem living in a rural town.

Heads up! Anyone who hasn't watched Game of Thrones S03E09 (but plan to) and doesn't want spoiler-ish venting should ignore this post :p

Hyperbole And A Half images are the only adequate depictions of the emotional spiral I was subjected to tonight.

Before I watched the episode:

As I watched the episode:

After watching the episode:

:c

But really, it was a good episode. The acting, the atmosphere, the timing... oh man. I DID know something like this was coming because I accidentally read a spoiler last year, but I didn't know the details and didn't know it'd be like this. I can't believe next week is the season finale, AND THEN WE WAIT ANOTHER 10 MONTHS. I really will have to read the books.
heh heh heh. Spoiler-ish kind of stuff in white.

Too bad you read the spoiler, but IMO, even though the scene was somewhat better in the book (or at least the lack of imagery allowed me to make it better in my head), the buildup to the scene in the show was way better. In the books, I KNEW this was going to be seriously bad news from chapters and chapters away. In the show, I thought it could plausibly go OK.

Roose was GREAT, I loved his small talk and that bit with the sleeve. I'm also really glad Talisa was genuine (they Red Herring'd her as a Lannister spy if you watch closely). Would've bogged the whole thing down otherwise.

I do not like Show-Hound, I don't think they've captured the character very well with him, but then I am a Hound enthusiast so I might be extra picky... at any rate, I felt that part of the episode was flat.

I LOVED Ygritte's face when Jon booked it, great acting imo. I wish they'd kept the scene a little more cannon... but that look! lol

Plus we got to see the wolves, that is always a big plus. I wish wild animals were edited in this way more often vs totally CGI'd. Greywind trotting at the head of the column was lovely.

I need to play catch up....
I'll be honest, I'm a little appalled that you haven't watched all the episodes, because how could you leave episodes unwatched??? Although it's probably different for book readers :p

Oh god that laugh. I read it in Frey's voice ("heh")... The moment the closed the doors after the ceremony, I died a little inside. Everyone was too happy for too long, and that's not allowed in the GOT world. G. R. R. Martin is why we cannot have nice things.

And yep, I was the idiot who watched the first season of GOT and looked up something related on Wikipedia. The spoilers :(

Roose was GREAT, I loved his small talk and that bit with the sleeve. I'm also really glad Talisa was genuine (they Red Herring'd her as a Lannister spy if you watch closely). Would've bogged the whole thing down otherwise.
Agree on all counts! The build up towards that scene, with Cat lifting his sleeve and the way he just let her and smiled at her realization. Pure evil. I also definitely fell for what the writers were doing with Talisa (I mean, the letters, the conveniently distant family and background story, a few things Tywin had said in earlier seasons...). I liked her character, but it was always with some trepidition because of what the writers continued to hint at.

I do not like Show-Hound, I don't think they've captured the character very well with him, but then I am a Hound enthusiast so I might be extra picky... at any rate, I felt that part of the episode was flat.
I like him! But just in the "oh yeah, he's a cool guy" kind of way, because he doesn't stand out much to me.

I LOVED Ygritte's face when Jon booked it, great acting imo. I wish they'd kept the scene a little more cannon... but that look! lol
I didn't realize the Red Wedding was THIS episode, but everyone on Facebook was raging and one person posted a status asking "WHY DID THEY KILL HER?" (I later went back to read and she also added a "...and everyone else". Anyway, I read that spoiler and during the scene with Jon Snow that Ygritte was going to die. At least I was wrong about that, but poor girl xD

Plus we got to see the wolves, that is always a big plus. I wish wild animals were edited in this way more often vs totally CGI'd. Greywind trotting at the head of the column was lovely.
YES. I wasn't the only one! Haha I was actually admiring his movement during that part, it was definitely nice to see the Greywind, Summer, and Shaggydog. So far only Summer has really been the only one making an appearance this season.

The last bit with Greywind though :(

And my vent: it's summer and all my friends are back in town and making plans, but I'm staying here to take classes. Completely regretting that decision right now...

I have to laugh at all the outrage over 'what HBO did'. Apparently none of those viewers read the books? lol 'Omg, I can't believe HBO!' Shouldn't you be taking this up with George R R Martin? He's the one that wrote it!

I need to catch up really bad.

Also, this isn't a vent at all, just a realization.... First time ever I've run into someone off-line that recognized me from Chaz, who wasn't a chaz member at a meetup. 'Oh wait, aren't these dogs on that one dog forum?'

'Oh yeah.... I'm a total internet nerd.' Summer and Mia totally outed me.

LOL just a reminder that dog folks google and chaz pops up a lot. I figured one of my club members would stumble upon chaz eventually. I should try to talk her into joining. Haha. It is funny because being online on the other forum ended up having me meet my former trainer (who passed away). She in turn told me about my current club. Really without being an internet addict, I don't think I'd have found the club I'm at!

Oh god I hope they don't look up some of my posts from when I first joined. I was an idiot....

everyone on Facebook was raging
**SPOILERS IN WHITE**

There is SO much GoT rage going on right now!

I've read posts where people are cancelling their HBO subscriptions because of The violence. If people are so against the violence, I wonder why they didn't just cancel after the first episode? This isn't the first instance of heavy violence. Ned was beheaded in season one, King Robert's bastards were killed, Theon had his genitals cut off, Ned had to kill Lady the direwolf, etc, etc.

I think that HBO did a REALLY good job with this episode. Dany's army takes down the entire city and everything is going well, and then comes the mass slaughtering at the red wedding.

I really hate how the "nerd world"/fandoms can be so just..mean.

I've watched all the star trek shows/series, very much enjoyed it and enjoyed the films blablabla
but while at those movies and on the internet, I am a bit shocked and appalled by how males treat girls who are new to star trek and perhaps only seen the films.

There is no reason to bully someone because she doesn't know EVERYTHING or have only seen the movies.
I hate when people are bullied over what they like or by people who claim to be the ruler of the claim "true fan"

I just think it's missing the point of star trek and fandoms in general, to make people feel welcome/included in something people might not consider to be "cool"
I just think it's sad.. and guys sit back and wonder why more girls don't like x, y, z or other things in the "gamer/nerd world" well, if they were more welcoming and did a little less ridiculous sexist **** than maybe they would be.

"She probably only likes _____ because of this hot guy!"
is so frikin sexist it makes me want to choke somebody!!!
