Even more crap from the offices.

Jin's paperwork is now "missing" and somehow "due" a month early. He's being told to go to the gym, every day, at 6:15am. (When he's already been told to go every day anyway, so what does the time matter?)

He typically gets home around 4pm on the days he comes home, like tomorrow. End of work day is 4:30pm. So he's supposed to get a flu shot and take his paperwork to his supervisor in under 30 minutes. And then Friday he has to turn around and have a mock PT test at 5:30am, plus more office crap until noon or so. Keep in mind, he's been gone for 4 days, and will be gone another 4 days starting Sunday. He's only had ONE 5 day break in the last month, but he's been on 4 different 5 day tours. Grand total, he's only been homehome for maybe 10 days in the past 5 or 6 weeks. HAWC has somehow "lost" his paperwork from his running eval.

They are trying to screw him out of the Italy orders SO BAD. And it's pathetic.

Jeremys work wont give him the raise he has earned and now wants to say THAT job comes before the second job he is having to pick up because they wont pay him a decent wage for the work and time he puts in. Today we were spending the last hour together before he had to go to work eating ice cream with the kids and he gets a text from his boss "are you on your way you need to be here NOW". It happens everytime we try to do something as a family.

Had to buy a bridesmaid dress today that i hate....its one of the most popular styles but short and strapless does NOT look good on short and fat:/ Then, I called to make an appt and had them check to make sure they had the style in my size. They assured me they did. I get there and of course, nope. They had me try on one that fit in a similar way but there are no mirrors in the dressing rooms so who knows what the actual dress will look like.....I have been having major anxiety about this **** dress since it was picked.

"Because he isn't Obama". I still don't get how that is a good reason to support a guy who has the moral ethics of Nixon and the economics of Bush.

I can see that. I know DH's family supports Obama just because he's black. The racist comments all over my facebook is getting annoying. Blind support goes both ways.

I think it ends up being especially true in the south, which I also hate to say because I live here, and I grew up here and I love it here, but it's pretty ridiculous.

Racism is a big part of it, but definitely not all. People have always voted against their own interests or for unattainable ideas etc.

HOWEVER, the absolute craziness and insanity that is being spread about Obama, that I can only attribute to racism. I am not talking about disagreeing with policies, or even liking the man...I am talking about the lengths people will go to trying to believe he is "different" or "not one of us" (read: not the typical WASP president)

Joey has a little diarrhea tonight and when I took him outside he munched a ton of grass and threw up. Hoping he just ate something that upset his belly a little. Gave him some anti-diarrhea medicine and some digestive enhancer so hopefully that will settle his tummy.

Josh and I have been at each other's throats like crazy recently and after blowing up at each other and then talking it out the other night I found out that he is going through some serious deep depression that I wasn't aware of and he had mentioned sometimes wishing he could end his life. We're calling the counselor tomorrow to set up an appointment. We could both use some vibes right now.

The fact that anyone thinks that Obama has gotten where he is because of his skin color is just..I can't even think of a word that sums it up! I'll just go with WRONG.

Anybody who had any grasp on how deep racism runs would understand that Obama has reached where he is today largely in spite of his race and background, certainly not because of it.
Regardless of the few token examples of "Oh I know a guy who voted for him because he's black!"
How many racists do you think live and breathe and vote in this country?
How many presidents do you know that have been hung dry over a birth certificate? their name? Do you have any idea how many challenges Obama must have faced to even break through and get as far as he has, regardless of how you feel about him, take a look at the VAST MAJORITY of those in congress and politics in general and tell me that things aren't skewed in a certain white direction.

"People just vote for Obama because he's black! WAHH! Poor Mittens! It must be so hard being a white male running for president! I mean look at the history books! WHITE MEN JUST CAN'T CATCH A BREAK RUNNING FOR PRESIDENT OF THIS COUNTRY!"

Well, I don't know about the country as a whole, but it's pretty alive and well in the "deep south" "bible belt" states like Mississippi.
