The Venting Thread

My uncle is coming to stay with us for a few months and work for my Dad.
I wouldn't have a problem with this - I like my uncle on his own just fine (I think, haven't seen him since I was a kid) but my family just DOES NOT know how to get along with each other. Immediate or extended. That's why my extended family is scattered across the country and sees each other about once every 5-10 years. My uncle's "worked" for other family members before - and no longer speaks to them. My parents have employed other family members before - and no longer speak to them. He's also in the middle of a nasty custody battle over his 11 year old daughter - who he's leaving behind with a completely incompetent mother across the country.
My 16 year old cousin is also coming to spend the summer to "help" with the baby. I adore my cousin, and I was really happy/excited that she was coming, but now I'm skeptical about living as 5 adults, a teenager, and a newborn in my parent's 3 bedroom house. I'm just PRAYING I don't have any seizures or a bad episode after giving birth and can move out next year

Its cold here, too like soooo totally NOT okay DX. It was 80 ****ing degrees with I woke up this morning, I went to run some errands (wearing summer clothes of course) & when I walked out of the store it was ****ing 50 degrees!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF?!?!?!?!?!?!?
That & on top of everything else, we had a goat attacked by we think either feral dogs or, more likely, coyotes (since I have heard a pack of them close the last few nights) she has some pretty serious flesh wounds & punctures (will try to get pics as since I am the only one with any knowledge of animal husbandry on this level ... I will be the one treating her :/.
Yes we had the vet out & he shaved & cleaned the wounds & showed me what to do & how to give the shots.
The up side? My vet is pretty cute
VENT NO 2 (sorry to be such a little bitch today :/) a good friend of mine & this guy have been courting each other for a while, spending time together & what not. he seemed like a really nice guy, seemed interested. well he works in another city quite a ways from here & he had been texting/calling her almost every day (which is a lot for any guy but esp for this dude is not a big texter). (I tried not to give her too much false hope or anything, but I was kinda rooting for this to work out)
Anyway this past sunday he came into town, (they had a date planned) everything went great & they ended up spending the night together, everything seemed like he went well ... the only thing is as they were saying their goodbyes, he said he would text or call her when he got in that night & he didnt & STILL hasnt & its ****ing FRIDAY almost! I dont want to make her feel like a used piece of meat but my hope is fading this guy will call back.
My poor friend I feel so bad for her, we all know how that feels ... glad I am not single anymore. I almost forgot how hard it was.
