amazingly, my favorite brand is Petsmart's Gold Medal pets in the whitening... smells great, lathers great, and they smell good for days. I use it on all five dogs!

I have so many different shampoos here. Not sure why, but I do. There's some different Bio-Grooms (oatmeal, lanolin, and some bronze something for brown/red coats), a couple of different Earthbaths (Oatmeal & Aloe, as well as Mango Tango), Nature's Specialties, and Tomlyn Milk Bath.

The Bio-Grooms get used on all of them, but mainly Dance (it's amazing with her coat), Earthbath is used for the Dobes, the Nature's Specialties is for Morgan, and the Tomlyn is for everyone.

Which scent did you get Mr. D, Hillside? My favorite is the LavMint... :D
I didn't know they made any other scent. That was all we ever carried at the store(s) I worked at. I used to get my own Lav/mint shampoo and loved it, but they stopped making it. Pretty much right after I started at the "Co, I made a point ot smell all the shampoos and have had a "tack crush" on the lav/mint for a while now. I am such a tack hussy.

How often do you guys bathe your dog? I've bathed Maggie twice since I got her on Feb 19. And I used Earthbath, which smells really nice but doesn't seem to lather up that well.. maybe I don't do it right but it seems like I have to use a LOT.

I need to give the cat a bath today.. we let him outside sometimes and he came back in really muddy last night. I wonder if it's ok to use dog shampoo on him.

I bathe them when they get dirty - so about every 2 weeks or so. I dilute the shampoo and use conditioners though, so their coats don't suffer. I think it's my groomer mentality - I like my dogs squeaky clean ALL the time! :) Doesn't stop me from letting them get filthy though, they like to be dirty dogs.

I usually bathe mine every 1-2 weeks during warm weather, but that's simply because I'm a bit picky about having clean dogs indoors.

I've used people shampoo and conditioner (the brand varies), a flea/tick shampoo (don't remember the brand, but it's a green liquid that smells GREAT), and a lavender-scented 2-in-1 for dogs. My mom bathes her maltese in Pantene and uses Pantene spray-in conditioner during brushing. It was recommended to her on a maltese forum. It's worked great for her.

Hey Zoom, my golden retriever was bathed in Suave every week. Made her quite pretty!

I bathe all of mine every 2-3 weeks on average. I never wait longer than 3 weeks, though. As far as the Earthbath lathering up, do you dilute it? If so, it could just be that you're adding too much water to it. I did that once by accident, but aside from that time, I haven't had a problem with it lathering nicely.

I use Earthbath Mango Tango, but I want to try the Buddy Wash when it runs out.

I don't bathe my dogs that often, about once every month to two months.
