Um...I am the family, except for the cat-and she wants as little to do with the dog as possible. So I guess he's all mine...erm I'm all his.

He's on the recliner, reclining and sleeping.

Does your dog have a favorite sleeping spot?

It all depends where I am really....they each have their "spots" depending on whether I am in the kitchen, watching tv, or on the computer

Still waiting for the walk....

Do you expect your dogs to heel for every walk?

Heel? All the time? Not a chance. Neither one of us would get enough exercise. He does have to heel when we're amongst people but other than that he's fairly self directed.

Curled up in a little ball on the chair. (just too cute)

Have you ever failed foster 101?

Never tried...Ocean was only hear for training and it was always planned for my breeder to take her back at the end of that summer, Bonnie wasn't a foster either, just a team mate for the winter months...I guess you could say Ronan is, but that still is a different situation LOL

Still waiting for a walk. But now Ronan is laying beside me.

Does your dog play growl a lot?

Phoebe has to poke and prod the spot she is going to lay in, so much so that she normally goes through a dog bed every year  Orson MUST sniff the Q-tip, cloth, or my finger if it has been in his ear.......he simply will NOT let it go until he does. It's very comical to watch, I have even kept it from him and put it into the trash.......he followed me there and waited till my back was turned, got it out, layed it on the ground and sniffed it.......then walked away, LOL

Both sound asleep.

If it were possible to do would you want another EXACTLY like the one you have, personality, looks EVERYTHING??

Absolutely, they are all irreplaceable - I seem to have had all great dogs who I would take in again in a heartbeat.

Right now, Maska's on the couch sleeping (no surprise there), and the girls are hanging with dad in his TV room because my office door is shut (oops).

Do your dogs like to swim?

He likes to wade...I don't think he'd be that good of a swimmer though.

He's home puzzling out his kong, breaking out of the baby gate and switching places with the cat.

What's your favorite game with your dog?

Agility lol.

Some are in crates chewing on nasty animal parts.

Have you or do you take classes with your dog (and what are/were they)?

I had my first class (Obediance I) yesterday. No dogs in the first class, but the trainer is +R and seems sensible, so I'll be taking Sarama with me next week. Its just a cheap thing offered by the Park Authority to country residents, but its a chance to work with her with her big distraction . . . other dogs.

Outside, chewing on a marrow bone, I presume. That's what I left her doing.

What dog sport would you like to participate in, but don't, and why?

I would like to get into agility but dont because i currently dont drive so I have no way to get to the training facility with OC

Ronan's laying behind my computer chair and OC is laying beside it. Both are resting from the 3hr "hike" we just took ?(it wasnt much of a hike because we were on once-upon-a-time train track trails but at least it wasnt street walking)

Xerxes is super independent. He loves to be in the same room as me, but unless he wants something he's usually doing his own thing.

<he's doing something at home, probably trading places with the cat>

Charlie's best friend is Lilah, a golden retriever

He is lying in the backyard keeping a watch on the neighborhood and being on the lookout for squirrels and/or cats that are dumb enough to wander into the yard

Where does your dog normally sleep?

Yes, eachother!!! LOL But besides eachother their best friends are BCmoffat's three Huskies, Tiku, Kena and Mochi (Ronan especially is head over paws for Tiku!)

Both are cleaning the dirt from their fur. On our "hike" they found a groundhog hole and decided to go investigating! Ronan was in all the way to his hips! LOL

Which Chaz dog is your favourite (besides your own)

Orson sleeps in our bed (except right now with the air mattress and all) and Phoebe sometimes sleeps with my son and sometimes in her own bed.

Orson:laying on his pillow all depressed. Phoebe, following Steve around the house hoping he will take her for a walk.

Ticks are not common in the area so havent had to worry about those but with fleas, every month the dogs get their heartworm pill which also disrupts the cycle of the fleas (makes the eggs they lay infertile) called Sentinol. If I find a flea on them then I immediately apply Advantage between their shoulder blades and along their back to their tail which kills fleas upon contact. I of course make sure to never apply Advantage twice closer than 1 month apart. With this syetm I have never had problems with fleas and we are out in the wilderness and farmland all the time where fleas are very common.

Still chilling

You bet I do! Haha. Beats rinsing them! As long as the leftovers aren't anything that would be harmful.

My boys are asleep on my feet under the computer desk. We had walkies this morning, but that wasn't enough for Kena. I had to take him for a bike ride AND a romp at the dog park. He's finally sleeping. Now I can get some peace and quiet. I'll have to take them all out again later when it cools off outside...

Do you have any photos of your dog(s) posted at work to help you get through the day?

Alas no...there is nowhere at work that I could put them. BuT I do always have my camera with me and there are pictures of them on it, does that count?

Sleeping now but they have moved so Ronan is beside me and OC is sprawled on the cool tile floor. Awww he's even dreaming with paw twitches!

How long is your average walk and how often do you go?

Twice a day, and it really depends, but its usually about a mile, so 15-20 minutes.

She's running around the backyard enjoying the cool weather.

I don't know what qualifies as an accessory...all I really need is a leash, collar and poop bags and I'm set.

<at home enjoying the good life, I need a webcam>

How many walks a day does your dog go on?
