David will be leaving for Illinois in 34 days. I just found out school doesn't start until the end of September when I thought it started at the end of August. >_< I'm seriously kind of bummed out bout that. I was hoping David would leave and then I'd have school and work to keep me distracted. Now I'll have over a month of nothing to do but work. I may just go nuts before school starts!

That awkward moment when you jokingly ask your mom if one of her co-workers is living with her and your dad, because he has been over the last few times that you called, and she says 'yes'

Well, my thyroid levels are fine.
Which I guess is good. But that means I still have no idea what's wrong with me.

Awesome.

I planned a budget like a big kid.

So now I know that I need to tell my employer I need more hours, or I'll have to find somewhere else to give me the income I need. Except I don't really want more hours at my current workplace.

Hrm.

I literally would never even think to LOOK in eBay for a puppy. I am very curious about the whole situation though!
Is it the eBay classifieds? If so, I've seen that before (not looking for myself of course), seems to be a lot of "XXL Pitbulls" from what I saw.

Sometimes I feel like the only person in the world who doesn't care about FIFA.
Soccer isn't REALLY part of the USes tradition... It totally depends on how you grow up.

I can only say what it's like here but... the world cup is so amazing here.

I think here (in Germany) almost everyone cares. It's something you live and breath during the world cup. You feel the joy of a win. And the sorrow of a loss - and the heartattak of which a game can be. There's so much emotion that goes along with winning a game, and this year becoming world champions that it's HARD not to get pulled along and route for your country.

You should have seen the streets on sunday in the cities. It took us 2 whole hours to get home for something that normally takes 10 minutes, because the entire city was on huge party.

There is absoluty nothing - I am mean this literally, because there is NOTHING out there that brings Germans more together than soccer and winning the world cup. NOTHING. It is also the only time we proudly hiss our Germany flags and the entire nation explodes in a sea of black red and gold.

I'm also watching the German Team arriving in Berlin right now - and holy cow, there must be like 200.000 people there right now.

Yep. Clearly, it's a great place to get a dog.
Um, duh. Where else do you think I got Middie from?

Overhearing the neighbor's conversation. . . neither of them used the word "prostitute," but the parts of the 10 minute conversation that I heard seemed to say everything but. Congratulations on your new job, I guess, crazy neighbor.
