Has anyone tried the new ionic pet brush? I saw an advertisement for it the other day, and I wanted to get some feedback before buying one. I have two shelties, and they constantly need to be brushed. It is advertised to keep the pet cleaner. Meaning not as many baths. :)

I got it for Mother's Day from my husband. I have two short haired dogs and a husky, and two cats. I don't think it does much to stop my short haired dogs from shedding but I do notice that they don't smell as much, if I give them a daily brushing. My husky it works good on getting the fur off of her and keeping her smelling good (agian with daily brushing). My cats shed CONSTANTLY and it works REALLY well at getting a lot of the hair off of them. Plus it's really easy to clean the brush too you just pop the little cover off and all the hair and stuff comes right off with the cover.

Is this something you can buy at PetSmart? I need one! Hunter doesn't shed "much", but it would sure be nice to get those little loose hairs off him. And if it works on cats, I NEED IT!!!

My hubby got mine at Wal-Mart, it was like ten bucks I think he said. Is your dog short haired? Because my two short haired it doesn't really get the loose hairs off (their regular brush does a pretty good job of that). It might just be my dogs that it doesn't work for though, I don't know. It works REALLY well on my cats though.
