Actually they do mostly PSA, and were formerly a PSA club though are no longer technically affiliated. But they have members who do various sports (ringsport, IPO) as well some cops who come to tune up their K9's.

A few local people recommended them as the place to go if I was new, as they're friendly and experienced in working dogs with a wide range of temperaments. So far I love it, the people are friendly, the training is high quality, and it's like 10 minutes from my house.
That is so beyond lucky! I can't wait to hear about Blossom's biting adventures. :)

The icing on the cake? They're comparatively affordable to other clubs, too! The TD says, "We're cheap, but we're not easy!"

Beautiful British Columbia!!
I just did my first spin class ever, and I loved it. I really pushed myself and I feel great, but I have a feeling tomorrow I am going to be bloody sore.

AND I think I found a trainer for Boelie puppy. YAY!! upside she was trained by Karen Pryor acadamy, down side she is 1 1/2 away. But I think it will be totally worth it.

Inspiration just hit me tonight and I came up with 10 lessons for co op next year for k-1 animal science :)

1 year ago I was FREAKING out about whether I could homeschool at all and now I am teaching classes at co op and planning for next year with confidence :D

Went to the gym, worked hard, came home and took a long hot shower full of just standing there being relieved it's all over.

Drinking a tall glass of Rumchata and then I'm going to bed whereupon I will sleep FOREVER on my surprise three day weekend. <3

Is this what it's like to not be stressed out and depressed all the time? I had forgotten. It's been so long.
It's nice.

This could have gone in the venting thread, but not today. I showed up at work at 7am, like I do EVERY Friday. Then someone points out I'm not supposed to be in until noon. WHAT? THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE NEXT WEEK'S SCHEDULE ISN'T POSTED BY FRIDAY! Anyway, most days I'd be annoyed, but today I'm happy because I'm TIRED. I got 3 hours of sleep last night, and now I can take a 3 hour nap! WOOO HOOOOOO! :D Also means I can feed my dogs their lunch myself and not ask my mom to do it.

I had to go to my old vet and ask them for a copy of Auggie's records... they once again neglected to send proper records to my new vet (we requested them twice, the first time they ignored it, the second time they only sent treatment records, not actually records like the results of his various UA's... which they did the same thing when they failed to send them to the university after referring me there and when the university requested them that was all they sent...)

I was expecting a fight because I asked for a copy to take to the university myself and they said they had to "ask" Doc. I printed out a copy of the IVMA's statement that my records are my property.

They just gave them to me though! I have his full blood results from bloodwork we did before his surgery, his T4 from last year, and all his UA results. I'm making my own copies so I have copies here at home too just for my own reference.

I had a evaluation at work yesterday and it went super well and all my scores were either above average or excellent. Yay!!!! My boss and I also discussed more training opportunities for me provided Josh and I don't move too far from here for me to continue working there.

Finally found Striped Raphael catfish.

A bit expensive, but I got four, may go back for a couple more. Its a long term breeding project. They're between 1.5 and 2.3 inches so I am going to have to wait some time for that.

My wee child has been extra cooperative the past few mornings. No fits going into daycare, which is always much appreciated. It's always nice to not feel like you're torturing your kiddo by taking him to his care facility. (even though I know they take fine care of him..his being scratched by someone's child aside)

Also, he now says goodbye to the resident fish everyday. ("bye, fish"). Which is precious.

Good news: I'm about to start making "Irish carbomb cupcakes!" They're made with Guiness, filled with Jameson whiskey ganoche, and have Bailey's frosting.

Bad news? I have to make 50 of them! Every year we do a ton of fundraising for Junior Achievement, and I'm going to sell cupcakes at our offices for donations. I'm hoping they'll be a hit with all the 20-something guys!

Jessie, those cupcakes are SO good.

I'm having brunch with friends who moved out of town this morning, so I'm really excited to seem them, it's been almost 2 years! Plus we're going to this local breakfast place that I've never been too, but everyone raves about the food and it looks good on instagram.

I got two pairs of maternity jeans, a skirt, and a dress for $40 at H&M last night!

I also found out that a new friend of mine was planning on killing himself the night we started talking. I knew he was down after a bad breakup, which is why I checked in on him, but I had no idea it was that bad. (This is good news because a) he didn't attempt/commit suicide and b) he's doing a lot better now).

I want to make those for kaleb's birthday tomorrow but I don't know if I have enough spare money for the Guiness as I can't find it in singles anywhere! Also I'm not sure if I have enough Bailey's. they're rather expensive cupcakes to make if you're low on booze lol.

Awesome! I figured they'd be a perfect fundraiser- I mean, who wouldn't buy a cupcake filled with alcohol! :rofl1:

I was hoping I could buy the Guinness in singles yesterday, but they wouldn't let me split up a 6 pack :( Our local liquor store was having really good sales on anything St. Patricks day related, at least. If you were local I'd give you a couple of mine since I only need 2!
