I think Adam has a future in obedience. Rumor walked in the room and sat down in front of us. He looks at her and goes "Fix her!" I look at her and ask, "Fix what?" "Her legs!" It was easily among the cleaner of her sits. She's a professional sloppy sitter.

I finally got brave and bought Logan a Nylabone (his first chew since breaking his tooth that isn't rubber like a Kong or natural like a trachea). He was SO excited about it and spent an hour chewing on it, and then carried it everywhere afterwards lol

Aww, yay!

Got a job interview on Friday! It's a part time nanny thing in the client's home. She's fine with me bringing my kids and her son is the same age as my son. :)

Unless something totally random and bizarre happens, I'm feeling really good about this one. I used to go to church with her and she's good friends with my sister in law. Then I can keep looking for a part time graveyard janitor thing and it'll all be good.

Yay! Good luck Romy!

The website I've been working on since basically started is live now. Like for real on the internets live.

That's my photography all over the site. Stuff we argued about for weeks and all the coding and junk... it's right there.

Holy *%&@.

I'm finally dropping my job resume off at the village office this week, so fingers crossed for a full-time lifeguarding/swimming instructor position! I worked part-time last year, and considering I have all my credentials up-to-date and quite a few full-time guards said they weren't coming back this summer... I think I have a relatively good chance. Either way, I love working there and the little kids are the best! I built up a nice collection of drawings/colouring pages that my students gave me over the course of the summer.

A job also equals money to go towards my university fund, and money to enroll Cali in training classes!

I FINALLY got my hair appointment scheduled. Hooray! Goodbye six inches of dead weight!

Now to just find time in my crazy schedule to get in a doctor's appointment and eye appointment...

Now that I've got my post-school plans all organized, I talked to BF about getting a dog this summer. For the first time, he said with certainty that yes, we can get a dog this summer, as long as we do a "test run" with Matrix first!

I am so excited! Starting a folder with ideas for names, collar, leashes, toys, x-pens/gates, training, dog walking/daycare options and groomers.

The only thing holding me back now is finding a house! Must find house ASAP!!

=D =D

So I worked 8 hours Saturday and 10 hours Sunday to get the website ready. I'm salary so it's not overtime or anything, it was just stuff I had to do, whatever.

Welp, the business owner suggested I should take Friday off to make up for it. SURPRISE THREE DAY WEEKEND! YEAAAAAH!

Also we went out to dinner Monday night and at the table in front of my co-workers (all two of them) he said "thanks guys for all the extra time and effort you've put in... especially Beanie." OMG! Really?! HE SAID THANK YOU. IN FRONT OF EVERYBODY. ESPECIALLY ME. Is this how it normally works?!

I love working for Not The Radio Station. It's amazing. Just... as stressed out as I have been and as much alcohol as I have been drinking on a nightly basis to de-stress I still lay down in bed at night and think "I love my job." Just because I hear "thank you" and it's genuinely meant, too. Perspective is a crazy thing.

That's the same way I feel at the zoo. It's such a weird but amazing feeling. I've never been truly thanked for a job before.

I love that the hair appointment was more urgently scheduled that the dr. or eye dr.!
:D

I have one more set of contacts left and only need the doctor to approve more of my birth control (really, really hoping they won't make me do another pelvic exam since my last one was 11mths ago). The hair wins out! Lol

I just got an email from the force air dryer company that they will "try" to do something about my dryer. Baby steps. However, since the show is in a MONTH, I don't have much hope of it being fixed by then :(

Tonight I have class with Backup and tomorrow we have a half day of work then I'm off to a dock event. This week is dragggging but we're almost there.

Plus I woke up early today and cleaned and packed most of my stuff so I shouldn't be too stressed tomorrow, in theory.
