One of our suppliers sent us a box of Christmas goodies, including an assortment box of See's chocolates. This has created a fun game of "What do you think is in THAT one?" because there's no chart to help us figure out which is which.
So much for getting any more work done this afternoon, because we're playing this game now.

SUGAR RUSH OMG.

I posted before in the venting thread about not being able to make Gracie a pair of pj's for our Christmas card.
Well it just so happens my own pu top fits her remarkably well...Christmas card wish granted!!! Squee, they turned out super cute, even the kitten tolerated wearing a babydoll's nightgown for a few shots!

What did long distance relationships do without Skype and smartphones? This is in the good news thread because I have Skype on my phone. Which makes videoing portable. Which is a very good thing.

They wrote letters and just had faith and believed in one another. Amazing what relationships can survive when dedicated. BUT I sure am happy
For modern technology and
Wouldn't trade it LOL. If you have kids
You'll hear similar. "In my day we didn't have diapers". Yeah well... If you did i bet you'd use em lol

I have two sweet girly rats finally!!!! So happy, I've wanted rats for about three years now, and finally was at a good spot to have them. :) They came off of craigslist. This all started by the dogs finding a hamster outside. So three rodents in our lives now lol.

I just re read this and it sounds like I'm saying that people aren't dedicated today because of skype and email. Lol not what I meant. Just that it's remarkable how people stayed sane when all they had was letters that
Could take months to receive and they would have no ide where their spouse was or anything. They just had to keep the faith that everything was OK. I'd go mad with worry with the unknown like that.

Yup. Did the whole letters only thing for two months...being able to actually see him and hear his voice is so much better. Even more so because he's portable. LOL

Also....MICHAEL WILL BE HOME IN 8 MORE DAYS OMIGOD. It has been 4.5 months. Getting him back, even just for ten days, is the best Christmas gift possible.
Then 3-4 more months to go. But I'm not going to think about that, I'm just going to think about these upcoming 10 days.

I thiiiiink interview went well but I'm not sure? They seem like awesome people to work with though and I think it will be a good company. Lots of people who have worked there foreeeever which is good news. My direct boss had Marvel comic posters hanging on his bulletin board and a tiny Wolverine figure on his desk and signed photos of Star Wars characters on the wall. HELLO SIR WE WILL GET ALONG FINE

But OMG I felt really young. I hope that doesn't bite me in the butt.

Oh my gosh, this dog is in LOVE. And he hasn't killed it yet, even after his best efforts.

Best. Gift. Ever.

This was his face upon seeing he awesomeness that is this Cuz:

I love how happy and goofy and boyish Abrams is! His face is always too darn cute, he's very much an open book in his expressions, lol. The photos you post of him always make me laugh. :D (Plus, yay cuz! Wesley thinks ball with feetsies rocks too.)

Well, the feets are now gone (he was chewing them off so I helped them the rest of the way with scissors), but he still LOVES it.He has been fixated on it all morning. As soon as I let him out of his crate he was squeaking the darn thing.

But, he is very, very well occupied. :p
