We went bowling with the co op today (every monday) and I bowled a 135. WOOHOO. Won $4 too lol. We had a little $1 pool for highest score. I haven't bowled anywhere near a 135 in many years (last time was when I was a teenager LOL)

Came home today to see the deck wrapped in Christmas lights. So much love.
(But then my vent is that I was not able to participate in the decorating).

Also learned today that I should have an easy week at work. Wed-Fri the teacher will be out, so me and another assistant are in charge of the class. None of us have experience teaching anything. So we are mostly going to do crafts and watch movies. And since there is no school Thurs or Fri (but our preschool program is still open), most of our kids will be absent those days. I think on Friday we only have 7 kids coming, whereas we normally have 20. SO MUCH EASIER.

I've found faith. . .and the best church ever, which contains some of the kindest people I've ever known. I never thought I'd go to church again, but this one is non-denominational and fun and freeing and uplifting and I have a smile the whole time. :D

Today at preschool we took the kids out for pick up time. One girls parents were late. This is a girl who is so painfully shy that she won't even eat snack or anything. Each day each week she opens up a little more but she still won't talk or do anything much.

Today all the other kids were picked up (except Hannah because she was with me). It was a miscommunication where mom thought dad was coming and vice versa. No big deal but it left us with half an hour with just her, hannah, the teacher and myself. WHAT A BLESSING!!!!!

We were outside waiting and we started collecting leaves, throwing maple keys in the air, making leaf piles and throwing them in the air. We had FUN and this girl was laughing and talking and throwing leaves at me and laughing and it was the most beautiful sound. Hannah even remarked "A.. Your are laughing and talking to me. A... You aren't sad anymore. I'm so happy".

I am going to encourage hannah to reach out more to this child just as she did today when she took her hand to walk to a potty break, when she engaged her to play during gym time and of course after preschool while we waited. Hannah is good at this and today was so touching.

It really was an incredible moment today that teacher and I really felt was needed and more than worth the extra half hour :). Really huge

I really can't take credit for hannahs beautiful heart. She has taught me more than I feel i can teach her. She just has a natural, beautiful
Heart to help others and I could really learn more from
Her

But it totally brings tears to my eyes too. Watching that today and seeing this little girl blossom in front of my eyes was AMAZING. i know her dad saw it when he picked her up. He was smiling ear to ear and apologizing profusely for not being there earlier but realized that this time was a blessing.

I am always humbled by hannah and also by these children at the preschool. They amaze me every time

I just ordered a crate for Pepper. =D

I needed a double-door to fit in my bedroom where she'll be living, and I only have single doors (not counting Payton's double-door which is Auggie's old double-door and is too big to fit in the bedroom...) So I had to order a double-door.
AND between points on my Amazon card, gift cards from Swagbucks, and payments from MTurk tasks that I did while bored at the radio station... I only paid $10 for it!

The little girl I talked about earlier had another breakthrough today. She actually used the potty... Both times we had potty break. She has never EVER been willing to use the restroom. The first day she didn't even want to come into the bathroom at all. She participated in gym time today too. We played with scarves and she stuck close by me but she laughed and enjoyed playing with them. It is so rewarding to watch her blossom
