I ran 3 miles today! That's almost a 5K :) :) Yay! It's a little embarrassing to say this, but I think that's the farthest I've ever jogged without stopping. And I biked 15.5 miles yesterday. Physically, I feel a little bleh now because I'm probably dehydrated, but mentally, I'm feeling good!

Annnnnd, I finished day #2 of the summer job (after having finished training) and am enjoying it. I get to help all of the wee little incoming Freshman figure out their schedules.

I brought Juno to work with me today so that she could be the guinea pig while we learned how to use our new blood pressure machine, + she hasn't had a wellness exam in a really long time so I figured it'd be nice to bring her in and have someone assure me that she's healthy lol.

She did really fantastic! All my coworkers were sitting in a circle when I brought her into the room, and she walked right into the middle of it butt wiggling and went to say hi to everyone. She has never met any of them. She NEVER would have done that a year ago. She laid in one of the tech's laps while we hooked the machine up to her. The noises of the BP machine scared her a little but otherwise she did great. And yes, she is healthy - she's in great shape, teeth look great, ears look great, heart sounds great. Yay!

I just realized I'm going to make it (barely) student loan-wise. I'm not going to max out before I graduate! Yay!

Beauty Brands is having a big sale. Just thought I'd share...

My better news for today is that my car is getting fixed and should be ready today and that my broken dog seemed a little less broken this morning. I'm hoping he continues to improve.

Me toooo!! This is one of my fave movies, and Jason actually loves it, so it's a double win (we usually do NOT remotely agree on movies, books etc)

Well, this sig doesn't look too dumb. Right?
I like it :)

Zinga actually herded sheep today! Not just run around in circles baking, but actually controlled herding. We were even able to calmly put them away! Zip learned some control too, he can actually stop when asked. There might be something to this herding thing yet.

I'm picking up a new foster ferret soon (likely tomorrow) :)

I'm not sure yet that this is good news persay, but it's good news that my mom agreed to it! She originally said no way... But my logic (I had 3+1 foster normally... Adding this will bring me to 2+2 fosters... Same amount of ferrets, less vet bills) won.

Not sure if it's permanent foster, or we'll find a new foster home, but he'll be out of the humane society :)

Aunt and uncle from the east coast, and their daughter and her family from Oklahoma will be here tomorrow, haven't seen them in ages. Then we're all going to the Muny on Saturday to watch my nephew in South Pacific (he plays the Frenchman's son, one of only two kids in the show). We'll also get a backstage tour of the Muny and have a picnic dinner before the show. Whoo!
