bwahahaha, nice. I like the quote "I drive a Jeep. The world is my parking lot"

I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee, which I love, but I really want a Wrangler. Plus, Wranglers hold their value a hell of a lot better than the Grand Cherokees. Which makes it difficult to get out of the ZJ and into a TJ.
Come back out here and let me know what year range and price range you want to be in. We get TJ's traded in a LOT.

Today is one of those days when the person i care about most reminds me why I care for him so much to begin with.

Also I've lost an additional few pounds and I really feel like it shows, specially when I stand in front of a mirror naked.

I'm looking at late 90's early 2000's TJ sport Wranglers. In blue or black or yellow. 8 to 10k possibly.

You aren't making this easy huh? :p :D

(Depending on how a few things go, I might have to take you up on that offer!!!!!)

Puppy sitting a ~12 week old Golden puppy from one of my puppy classes tonight. My boss (head trainer) made jokes to the owners saying that they'd come home to a fully trained dog. Well, I taught her the ever so useful command of "shake" (proper paw and everything). My job here is done.

But seriously, maybe 30 reps total and this pup was offering it very enthusiastically. Smart as a whip. Even rang her bell to go potty for (what I was told) the first time ever tonight!

Puppies just keep getting smarter!

I was just going off of the tune of your original post that there is nothing impressive about the 2.0T.

I adored my VR6, never have had a huge spot for 2.0T. Now turbo that VR6? Good effing lord that is pretty much amazing.
It's not unique. For the small displacement I'm impressed with the stock power, though. Sounds awful stock, though, on most cars they have it in.

I <3 my 24v VR6, and one day (maybe not soon) but ONE DAY! it will have a turbo.
Soon? :D

Never driven the VR6 with a turbo, but I like the power stock just fine - almost can't imagine how great it is with a turbo. And an obnoxious BOV.

Miata people never understand what I mean when I say they would be PERFECT if they sounded like the VR6.

Went for a lovely walk this evening, and my dog was a ROCKSTAR. Very crowded walking trails, crowded beach, people on bikes, rollerblades, lots of other dogs that she practically brushed shoulders with, and one idiot that just dropped his leash and let his dog come run up to us... and Juno just said "no big deal" to all of it and just sauntered on. She is so d@mn dog reactive when she is on leash so this was a spectacular showing. She was the best behaved pooch there :)p) and actually acted like the Canine Good Citizen she is supposed to be!

I'm entirely too thrilled that I know exactly what you're talking about.
Good. Now buy a B5 S4 and feel my pain as well. :p

HAHA. I love how you, Zoom, and I are the only people who sit here and talk car stuff.

YAY for you, and be careful with the Alcantara. Love it, but it wears rough if you're hard on it. And your seats are nice. Are you racing it? Do you need the lightweight seats? I wouldn't waste the money unless it's a comfort thing or you're really racing. You've already got the excess weight stripped out. I think the only extra yours has is AC and a pass. seat, yes?
The stock leathers? They're cracked and they are terrible for hard cornering. Plus the heating element in the driver's side is broken, which is extremely inconvenient for my cold butt. I had Sparcos and harnesses that I sold with the intention of getting seats I actually liked. I've never had a problem with alcantara. I think it's awesome. The two Sparcos, two Corbeaus, brackets, and harnesses are $750, so why not? I want them and they're cheap, so I don't really consider it a waste of money. Less weight is less weight. My car doesn't have rear seats, the spare, rear wiper, wiper fluid reservoir, armrest, and there's no sound deadening under the carpet. It really isn't stripped. It looks full interior, and the cage pretty much offsets any weight reduction that was gained by removing everything. I lived without the AC, but I just can't do it again. I'm considering deleting power steering since the pump is dying anyway, but I'm not sure. VRs at least have the option of deleting just power steering without also deleting AC - 1.8Ts don't. Probably won't make a decision until the pump actually decides to die, lol.

Aaaand it doesn't have a wimpy 2.0T. It has a VR6.

Don't read a book by it's cover... or a Jetta by it's "cavalier" exterior. ;)
Mk4s don't even come with a 2.0T. They came with the 1.8T, which is even worse.

I totally realized that after it was too late to edit. I was thinking audi. Been out of the german car game a bit too long it seems!
Come back to the awesome side. :p

Audi actually has a 1.8T, too. I believe there's is the AEB compared to VW's AWP. I'd never own either, but I've been around the track in 034's time-attack A4, which is an AEB, and OMG. So much awesome.

THIS IS THE WORST.

While my car was dead this winter I drove my mom's car, and the heating element on the driver's side is broken on her car. My sad cold butt all winter long. Whomp whomp...

Brian has been gone for three days and I've gotten SO MUCH DONE AROUND THE HOUSE.

He's coming back tonight with a flat screen tv about twice the size of our 90s 19".... YESSSS.

Get to spend some time being crazy with Meagan's herders tonight, and then go to a puppy raiser meeting! Squee!
