It's warm out... I think I need to find out if Blossom will swim today. ;)

Plus all my gear for bitework is "out for delivery" so should be waiting for me when I get home from work!!! *flails around*

I'm on the way to the hospital to get a cast on this wrist. While I don't consider needing it to be good news, the alternative was to wait 2 weeks. At least this way I'm on the way to healing

I'll have Embyr and Rick, so I'll be fine, but I have no idea where to start! They have so much STUFF and the place is so HUGE. I'll be there for about two hours today, so I think we're going to familiarize ourselves with the equipment that we are unsure of how to use, spend some time on stuff we do know how to use, and then I'm going to race to the pool and splash around happily. 'Cause, y'know, I love swimming and haven't been able to since August.

Packing up my room is not fun at all, but I am SO glad I cleared out my closet and dresser a few weeks ago. I can't imagine having to do that now, so yay past me for being productive!

Fred is now on 5 min lead walks around the village :D it's soooooooooooo nice to be outside with him! And he's loving it.

And (touch wood) he doesn't seem too sore/lame.

Check up in a few weeks :)

Beautiful British Columbia!!
Chai latte is yum.
Now I want, and the nearest cafe is 25 minutes away. RUDE :)

Any who, the renter is gone Thanks You Jesus! But he left a lot of stuff and garbage behind. Left me dishes to clean and he did a crap job at cleaning the bathroom. Oh and left coal marks all over the walls in the bedroom. Guess who is NOT getting their deposit back?

But he is still gone and that makes me very, very happy.:D

Oh thank God my chiropractor just called and they have an opening for me at 5:15. I am hope hope HOPING he will be able to fix whatever damage I apparently did during the half-marathon!!

Also I just found out an ex-co-worker (one I do not like) also ran the half. He only finished ten minutes ahead of my time. And I... you know... WALKED 6-7 miles.
Little bit of triple snaps.

I got Logan's service dog eye exam scheduled, and it's in town! I thought I would have to travel to Tulsa, which wouldn't be possible in my car. But the doctor from Kansas City is going to be in town May 31st and they still have openings.

AND they're not making me bring stupid "certification"! Service dogs don't need to be certified, but for this sort of thing it's usually asked for (in other words, owner-trained service dogs are largely excluded). This year they're starting to accept IAADP members, even OTers, but my membership won't be processed by then as it takes a long time. However, it's down to each clinic to enforce the "certification" thing, and this clinic isn't demanding it (I think it's pretty crappy that most clinic will do exams on therapy dogs and SAR dogs, but not OT service dogs).

Anyway, May 31st! And I have heard so, so many good things about this vet. He comes to the zoo and sees our animals' eyes occasionally, too.

I'm teaching two 30-minute classes tomorrow, 4 on Thursday, and possibly 4 on Friday if I can get off at the clinic. So excited! Tomorrow it's about wetlands, Thursday/Friday it's about farms and where food comes from.

I may be able to leave the vet clinic in September. I'd love to leave sooner, but at least September is only 4 months away! I'm finding I have to rearrange my clinic schedule more and more to make room for the zoo, and the zoo will ALWAYS come first.
