If it helps, I think Pepper is stunning :)

My muse: why does my dog seem so needy when I just want to relax? She's giving me the stink eye so now I am off to hike with her so she can relax for the rest of the day while I get ready for a wedding.

I really need to walk my dogs, and I really fancy the fresh air, but I really can't be bothered....

I left the house at 5am yesterday, I got up at 6am today, and when I came home I put my pjs on again.

The dogs would enjoy a walk, but they won't melt and die without one.... Ack. I don't want to move!!

It is a mistake to ever post about Pepper because everybody wants to chime in about how much I'm doing everything wrong with her every **** time I post anything about her. Thanks for the reminder.
I was aghast for a second that you took it personally, but then I realized I had done the same thing with your comments; we are humans, our touchy issues tend to cause that I think. I've heard so much that it isn't fair to 'force' a dog who doesn't want to play into the sport that as soon as it comes up, I start waving my fist and yelling "Yeah, but...". Because I feel the need to defend the fact that I did just that.

As I said, I don't think Pepper cares that she's not doing agility or that choosing not to do it with her is wrong. I apologize that my comment made you feel that way.

Pirate did so well at SAR training this morning. The trainer was impressed for our first time out. Pirate is FAST. The trainer thinks he has some real potential. Although, today is the day that Pirate decided to be afraid of new people. By the time we left, he was starting to warm up to one of the guys.

Buddy is what I would consider a "scardy dog" ...at least he was when I got him. But getting him out, slowly, in situations which he became nervous in, I focused on one situation at a time until he overcame that.

He could never do agility, the social pressure would be too much for him. My other show dog, bear I couldn't do conformation classes with because he simply didnt enjoy them, he wasn't scared of anything, he just didnt enjoy it. So we stuck to sports, racing & hunting.

I just spent a half hour rolling around the floor with Cavalier puppies and oh my gosh I have such puppy fever now. I don't even want another puppy normally! My arms are covered in scratches from little wee puppy claws and my hair is all ripped down and one of them tore my pocket because it had chicken in it and AH!

I swear, if they could bottle puppy love this would be the happiest planet.

Getting super freaked out and excited by my puppy list for the hopeful Didgie/Zip litter in 2016!

So many people I love and such a wide variety of interests too! From Agility, to Disc to SAR to Hobby farm. They aren't even close to being bred yet and I already can't wait to see the puppies take on all these challenges!

Didgie needs to turn two so I can get the health testing done and out of the way!

A requirement to purchasing one of the puppies needs to be posting pictures of said puppy on Chaz at least monthly.

Just sayin'.

I am not the food guru that a lot of people on this board are; I know this and I'm OK with this. I just had a college friend send me a FB message asking what I feed Hudson because his coat is so shiny. She has a golden (not sure how old) and wants to feed her a better quality dog food. Currently she is feeding Dog Chow and I think she will soon be switching her dog over to (depending on what she can find), Blue Buffalo, TOTW, Earthborn or Wellness.

It makes me happy that my friends can see how much care I put into Hudson and that they feel like they can come to me for advice.

Well, I'm hoping I have some decent ones from Sunday but I was counting on Sara adding her bunch since I was watching Didgie. But then she had to go and mess that up :p

If they aren't great then you just will have to come back so we can redo them ok Lauren?

Gosh I am loving Mia's new found enthusiasm for catching treats. Why has this never crossed her mind before? It's as fun as catching tennis balls AND she gets to eat too!
