We had a local rescue that took in a Yorkie that was prone to seizures. They named him...Ceasar. So maybe Roadie *would* be acceptable. Ahaha You could spell it Rody...:D

I love it when I say, "I need a food without these ingredients," and people just answer with whatever random food they happen to be feeding, regardless of ingredients. Because that's totally helpful.

NOT. :wall:

This morning I demonstrated to my mom and the daycare children how me and Juno play hide and seek with her toys. Juno takes this game very seriously and is very good at finding her toy, and every time she got her toy the kids would clap and yell "yay Juno!" and she looked proud as heck with her head and tail held high lol. My mom thinks it's like the most impressive thing ever that we do this, but I've always just looked at it as a boredom buster game and nothing special!

So I guess my dog is super cool and whatnot.

Well ****.

I took Summer to class and left Mia for the first time since Mia isn't allowed anymore. Came home and unlocked the door to hear barking at the front door.

Yep, she tore down the gate while I was gone! Tore it down! Now I'm worried that because she realizes she can tear it down this will be a thing.

I wish they would employ people at those stores who actually knew more then I do :/ but it seems as though the only store who does this in my area is pet supplies plus

I just looked at her and said no, and then she got all pissy and pointed out the pictures and I just said no and ignored her so she walked away. Like kid they have the same main protein sources not the same ingredients, they are not the same.

Bah Bristol damned well eat already...and green tripe is fraking nasty.

Have you checked out pitbull-chat.com?
That's where I ended up looking most, after that other forum :) Lots of good info there. I've actually browsed previously just to learn!

In other news: you know you spend too much time on dog forums when you google pictures of various breeds, and see multiple dogs you know. :rofl1: I found Trent, another GSD from a different forum, Grant, and Sako - so far. I'm sure I'll see more before I'm finished!

Edit: and a different GSD owned by the same person, and some more of Trent :)

I've had pet store people tell me that it is not possible for a cat to be allergic to fish and also constantly point out that any food that's not listed as "salmon" flavour doesn't have salmon in it.

I generally refuse their help now.

I would like to point out the adorableness that are 2 day old Dane puppies.

There are 11 puppies total

<3 <3 <3 <3

I literally want her.

I had an opportunity to get a puppy from this litter. I wanted one SO bad.
But ogically it just isn't the right time. Plus with my mom's recently developed dog allergies, it wasn't a smart move.

But PUPPY.

(disclaimer: pictures are NOT mine.)

Got a postcard in the mail that Auggie was overdo for his annual (and boosters, which he isn't getting.) I'm thinking about just not taking him. His chiropractor is a DVM and he was in for an adjustment a few weeks ago, and she looked at his teeth and also listened to his heart murmur. Next weekend I'm having his eyes CERFed along with Payton's just out of curiousity, to see if the vet sees anything going on. So... I kind of feel like he doesn't really need an annual. Does it make me bad to not take him? The vet I use right now is really expensive... normally I'm a fan of annual exams, especially on a senior dog, but I feel like between what my chiro DVM looked at and having a frickin' ophthalmologist look at him next weekend, that's everything major I'm concerned with, and there's no reason to dish out another hondo to have somebody else look him all over again...

I swear I wake up and Paris has grown OVERNIGHT. I didn't think I'd notice the subtle changes because I live with her and see her everyday, but I can't get over how fast she's already changing! She's nine and a half weeks old now which probably still sounds TINY but I swear her legs are getting longer and her face is maturing!

Meh, unless you want bloodwork ran, then I wouldn't worry about it. He's being seen by *someone*, so that's the main point. Maybe fax over his records from the chiro and ophthalmologist so the clinic knows you aren't just blowing them off? (Although they'll still probably hound you about the vaccines. lol)

I may be a horrible person...but I really don't mind when I'm home alone and Abrams throws a hissy fit at the door and is loud enough to make the two large men on my doorstep take a step back.

I know he's friendly and if he got loose he'd just give them kisses...but they don't know that.

And then there is Cynder, who tried to jump into their maintenance truck to say hello and I had to physically go and pick her up and carry her inside because she wanted back scritches from one of them. LOL
