Our youngest who is 6 has in the past week, knawed his way through two $20 dollar leads and has eaten the pocket of my husband's pants in his search for used kleenexes. He has plenty of chew toys around the house. He goes for a nice run every day. He will eat anything in the garbage. When we first got him 5 years ago, he was eating dog poop because he was so hungry. At least he doesn't eat that any more. Any help would be appreciated.

I'd use bitter spray. It works great for my dogs. Just spray it on the stuff you don't want to be chewed. You can also try to make your dog feel guilty for chewing your stuff.
