Not sure if this should be here or in health so feel free to move it mods!

I just noticed today that Izzy's adult canines are coming in on the bottom and one is coming up right behind her puppy tooth. On the other side of her mouth the puppy canine is gone already and I'm wondering if she'll lose the other one at her own pace or if I should be worried that the puppy and adult canines are both there at the same time. Also, is there a specific order that adult teeth erupt in? She still seems to have her puppy teeth between her canines and I'm wondering when she'll start losing those/ if I should watch out for lose teeth so she doesn't swallow them.

All advice and information is appreciated!

I think it's not unusual for an adult tooth to come in right behind a baby tooth. If it doesn't fall out on its own it should be pretty easy for the vet to pull. The same thing happened to me when I was little - an adult tooth came in and the baby tooth wasn't ready to come out! It was there for several years, until I saw the orthodontist the first time and he yanked it out, no warning.... But it was loose already so it didn't hurt too bad.

I also know that it's pretty common for dogs to swallow teeth, that's not usually a problem.
