That's exactly what I was thinking. Around here, a lot of people call them Mini Dobermans. They aren't even the same breed bred down!

So many people see Rumor and go "Oh she's so pretty! I have a little one!" Uh, okay. Anyone I've taken the time to explain that they aren't the same breed to has looked at me like I'm the idiot.

I've called some min pins, miniature dobies before but more to bother the owner then out of ignorance. :p It's too bad that more people do not do their research before they get a pet. *sighs*

I hear people refer to min pins as miniature Dobermans ALL the time. It's so annoying. I got the same thing when I had Lyric...."Oh...I know someone with a small one." Or "a miniature one." I hate having to inform them that they aren't the same breed, that a Doberman is a Doberman...that there is no such thing as a miniature. But I can't help myself.:wall: Why do they put me in this positition? LOL.
