Since we just did a food thread, I figured we could do the supplements thread again.

I have been a terrible person and my dogs haven't been on SeaMeal in months. Bailey hates it but it seems to work well for Gabby. I need to order it!

Anyway...

Bailey and Gabby and Diego Supplements
Dasuquin (joints)
Orchex (crazy dog supplement for Bailey that works really well for her)
Vitamin B Complex (old dog nerve pathway help)
Welactin (EPA/anti-inflammatory)

They used to be on quite a few more but as I've taken a few out, I haven't noticed a difference.

The cats get Dasuquin as well.

Everyone gets Dasuquin. Maisy and Pip get Adequan. Everyone gets some type of EFA supplement when I remember and have some on hand (Welactin is my favorite but I'll get various brands through work).

I get others sometimes too but the Welactin is my favorite because it is so concentrated.

Everyone gets Salmon oil, then...

Franny (11yo) and Pete (7yo) get Drs. Foster and Smith Joint Care Premium Plus

Hank (8yo) and Marvel (4.5yo) get Glyco-Flex 3 and Co-Q 10

Levi (6.5yo) gets a digestive herb mix like Honest Kitchen's perfect form b/c his Prozac gives him reflux.

Franny is getting Turmeric Golden Paste.

Gnome (14 months) is getting digestive enzymes and soil-based probiotics because her tummy seems "off" these days.

Abrams and Cynder are both on Dasequin. Cynder, because she's old, has a bum shoulder, and has spondylosis. Abrams, because he already has some crepitus in one of his knees and he has to be the roughest dog on his joints that I've ever owned in my life.

Both of mine are now on salmon oil and Dasuquin. Both orthopedic vets I took Gusto to recommended the fish oil highly, and when I pushed them regarding other joint supplements, said the Dasuquin was probably the best suggestion they had. Neither seemed really sold on the idea of joint supplements beyond the fish oil, but it makes me feel better.

Gusto's the one with the actual issue, but I figure at 10, Meg can get the same stuff even though she's always been sound.
