All day today Molly has been incredibly restless, and just not herself. She just keeps pacing, panting the whole time, and she keeps stretching but she can't/won't lie down and sleep.
She finally went to lie down in my room but she keeps getting up and moving around. And it's kind of unusual that she'd be in my room in the first place... that's where she sleeps at night, but normally it's impossible to get her down here if it's not nighttime, and if I'm not in here--and she was lying there in the dark when I got home from work, so that's pretty weird for her.
She drinks an enormous amount of water too but that's been going on for longer than just today.
The weirdest thing is that she acted similarly to this before... maybe about a year ago. It just randomly started one morning, the vet ran a bunch of different tests, couldn't find anything wrong. We had decided that it might have been a reaction to her thyroxin--we had just had her pills refilled the day before, they were from a different manufacturer, and that morning she had gotten one of those new pills. She hasn't been getting thyroxin since then, and everything was fine... until now?
Should I be concerned or am I just worrying over nothing? She is over 12 years old, so everything kind of freaks me out these days.
