It is isn't right that Grammy has to be in so much pain and be suffering and I wish I could take it away for her. Her family must being going through hell as well. I too think of Grammy everytime I see a Golden and always will. I had a little Golden female puppy here the other day for some training and I called her a Little Grammy Girl, the pups owners thought I was nuts especially when I got a tear in my eye. This is so sad.

I was sitting in a restaurant yesterday and got all teary eyed thinking about grammy :( My heart just aches for her and her family... and for ollie. I hope she finds peace soon.

I briefly spoke with Grammy last night. I told her how much she is loved. Amy said that Grammy has accepted that she is dying and will be calling Hospice this morning. Cries....Prayers for our Grammy.

So it really is nearing the end... wow... I don't want her to be in any pain anymore and if that means she has to let go in order to be free of that pain then that's what needs to happen, but I don't want her to be gone. Going to miss her so much. I'm truly upset that she has been in so much pain. She doesn't deserve that kind of end. May she go peacefully and know that she was loved and will surely be missed.

I agree with Amber :( Everything happened so quickly. I just didn't see this coming for Grammy at all :(

I wish that she had access to Chaz from the beginning. I hope she sees our messages to her. She just seemed to be doing so well, and went downhill so fast. It makes me sad.

I've been praying for Grammy all week. It's hard to let go of our own desires for her to stay around, because we desperately want to believe she can and will get better... and to switch that over to understanding she isn't getting any better, and praying that she will just be released from her pain.

We love you Grammy.

I hope they can help with her pain. She doesn't deserve to be in any pain.

I'm sure it's comforting for her to know that all of her Goldens will be waiting at the bridge for her.

I thought of this too. :) Picturing a healthy Grammy at the Bridge with all her Goldens greeting her brings a smile to my face.

Awww...I'm so glad hospice is going to be there. They are wonderful. I just lost my Dad and he was in a hospice facility and they took away all his pain and anxiety and made the family feel so much more at peace with this process...just expert, loving, wonderful, amazing people. So, that is a relief to me that Grammy will not have to continue with this pain and anxiety. The drugs are a miracle in themselves and the additional, loving care will smoothen Grammy's transition and things will feel more normal to her and the family. I just know it will be better. We love you Grammy and now you rest and relax and bask in the love of your family and friends.

And to the family, I wish for you to have some peace and a feeling of normalcy with this process...as much as you can during this time, acceptance... and to put celebrating her life over your sadness. (((((hugs))))))

Oh, I do hope that this will get passed on to Grammy. Somehow, crazy as it may sound, I think knowing this would help her alot.

I'm always afraid to go look into this thread when I see new posts, I'm praying for her.

Is so sad to see a beloved person go.

I also think of her when I see goldens :) , I never going to forget the things she teached to us in this forum.
