i am just sick that her good life has to end this way. Prayers for her to go into the night with peace. To be free of this body that has failed her for so long, even tho her spirit was stronger than anyone here could imagine. Her ability to care for the people here with her "heal" during their illnesses and injuries amazed me. She was able to feel for them instead of being bitter of how her body has betrayed her. She never let on how much discomfort she was in. ((((HUGS)))) to her family for their pain of seeing her this way, I am sure it is ripping their hearts.

There is anger in my heart that Grammy has to go through such pain I only hope that she will be gone and free of pain soon. She helped me get through my grandmother's time in hospice care with cancer so much, she will never be forgotten. We love you, grammy

I have been reluctant to open this thread because I was afraid of bad news Grammy was such a big part of this forum and it will not be the same without her here. I always admired the way she was a straight shooter and just told it like it was..lol She loved all of us and often referred to us as her little chicks I will never forget grammy, she will always hold a spot in my heart.

It saddens me to know that she is in so much pain. Life isn't fair sometimes and it's hard to watch someone you love have to go through so much. I hope they can get her some morphine and at the very least make her comfortable as she passes to the next part of her journey.

We love you Grammy and we will miss you dearly.

I always open this thread with hope and dread. I hope that it's good news, but I dread when it's not. I hope that her last days are pain free. I always like this quote, but it seems especially appropriate for Grammy. I don't know who it's by, but

"When you're born, you cry and the world rejoices. Live so that when you die, you rejoice and the world cries."

I'm not sure Chaz is the world, , but we're all here praying for Grammy.
